Large Comfy Rental In Chicago's Most Diverse Neighborhood - Great Value!
- english, Tagalog, some Spanish
I am a career corporate finance professional and a life-long Chicagoan and resident of the Lincoln Square neighborhood. My wife is an attorney and we have two lovely children, ages 15 and 8. We collect art and greatly enjoy world travel.
Virgil purchased this Apartment in 2007
Why Virgil chose Uptown
This rental unit is in a vintage brick three-flat that's quintessential Chicago and conveniently located near transportation to downtown and elsewhere in the city. Many points of interests such as Wrigley Field, Green Mill Jazz Club and Montrose Beach are walking distance from the unit. The property is in a quiet, tree-lined block that has seen a slew of high-end property development the last few years.
What makes this Apartment unique
Given its alternating areas of affluence and gritty city environs, the neighborhood may not offer the fully gentrified feel of certain other parts of Chicago but provides great value due to its closeness to all points of interests. Private parking space for two cars are provided, a bonus in the city where almost every block must have permit or metered parking.
100% refund if cancelled at least 60 days before arrival date. 50% refund if cancelled at least 30 days before arrival date.
Chicago Summer Adventure
The property is great and in a great neighborhood! There is so much fun stuff to do within walking distance. This is truly a hidden gem in the city!
My girlfriends and I stayed at this property for a weekend getaway in downtown Chicago. The location for us was perfect, only about a 20-30 min Uber ride to Navy Pier, close to Montrose Beach and Wrigleyville! Good neighborhood and within walking distance from shopping centers such as Target and Aldi. Overall Virgil was very accommodating with our group and provided us with a wonderful stay!
Great location and great service!
We’ve stayed in several neighborhoods in Chicago and this place was one of our favorites! Easy access to the L train, a huge grocery nearby, half mile to Lakeshore running paths, and fabulous restaurants all around. We walked to Cubs games too! Our host was easy to reach and answered all our questions immediately. My only issue was street noise in the front facing bedroom but turning on the window A/C worked like a charm. Instant white noise! Light sleepers would probably want the other two bedrooms if it’s winter though! Will definitely stay again.
Must stay in Wrigleyville
Everything is as advertised. Virgil was really helpful and even let us check in a little early. The place was really clean and well worth the price.
Close to Wrigley
The neighborhood is awesome and its just a short, scenic 20 min walk to Wrigley Field. Excellent location to catch the Cubs!
Great Place just one draw back
Place was great. Big, roomy, had everything you needed even a umbrella. Would have given 5 stars. Only draw back is the water pressure is pretty bad in the shower. But other then that was a great place highly recommend.
