Escape to our charming country getaway, nestled in the heart of the countryside in Harlingen, Tx. Our cozy vacation rental features a rustic-chic interior complete with a private backyard patio perfect for sipping morning coffee or enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. Guests will also have access to a backyard lake, an outdoor bar/workout room, and an above ground pool perfect for relaxing after a long day!

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Raccoons, Squirrels, Possum, Birds (including Hawks), ETC). Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night, and supervise your children at all times while they are outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee pests or bugs will not be visible. This includes but is not limited to: ants, snakes, spiders, scorpions, beetles/roaches/water-bugs, mice, or flies.

Location is great, Clean is not

The property itself was mostly clean. Almost everything in the kitchen was dirty inside the cabinets. The cabinets were sticky and broken. Two of the mattresses were sealed in broken plastic covers, and there was dirt in blood on the mattresses. The chair cushions were filthy. All of the air conditioning vents were very dusty, and when the air conditioning was blowing, the dust was blowing around the rim.

Had good and bad points!!

The house was big and had a nice big fenced in yard!!! the house was missing several necessary items such as hand soap, washcloths silverware things you would expect in a home away from home!! the maid service or cleaning service was under par as the floors were filthy, and the microwave and stove had to be cleaned prior to to use!!!! Found out we were missing a can opener manual or electric Christmas Eve day and had to go purchase one to make Christmas dinner!!! the property manager was accommodating on some of the missing stuff!!

Lovely and comfortable home away from home

Check in was so easy, Wi-Fi was impeccable and our over all stay was just amazing. This long (10-day) stay was from my elderly mom to see her siblings and I started our trip by attending a funeral. Adding the extra day was easy and not stressful at all. The location was also wonderful, 9 minutes to my mom’s sister. We are already talking about booking again!
