Cute and quiet cottage with 2 private bedrooms and a small, private bathroom. This unit can sleep up to 4 guests comfortably in a queen and full beds.

Enjoy the quiet calm in the modest side yard in the lawn chairs after a day at the beach. Take advantage of the beautiful weather by grilling lunch or dinner on the charcoal barbecue grill. Your 4-legged companions are also invited! Spend the evening hours savoring a fire in the fire pit (each cottage has their own fire pit and chairs).

Relax in cozy comfort here after enjoying dinner at the nearby Lakehouse Winery & Spa or The Lodge at Geneva on the Lake. Perfect after a rejuvenating massage!

You can further explore nature with close access to bicycle rentals at the Lodge or Adventure Zone. The Strip (downtown Geneva on the Lake) is also a short half mile walk away, where more adventure awaits you.

Our review

Our stay was great - cottage was very clean (except for kitchen garbage can which was pretty gross, but we just put a large plastic garbage bag inside, so not our worry - didn't have to look at it or deal with it); our online instructions for key code, pet rules, etc., were excellent. It's SO convenient to the village, marina, only 2 doors down from small convenient store (Max's, which was perfect to just walk and get ice, etc.); a great fire pit in yard - and a sweet surprise when out at the campfire, lights on a timer lit up along the back fence - made for a nice ambience (I think the website should give more detailed information/pictures on those items because it was really nice); also, it's so pet friendly (the whole town is!) - We think the website's description doesn't do it justice - (not that's it's bad! just that it's nicer than we anticipated) -

Great location has issues

This is a great location. Had some issues after a few contacts it was taken care of. Was not real clean. Mold on windows in bedrooms. Foors dirty couch dirty and mattress cover dirty. Dissatisfied I'm the amount of money that was paid as we could have stayed somewhere much nicer for the same price. The neighbors that came for the second house left and didn't even stay. We had no where else to go with our dog and kids unless we drove over 4 hours back home. No discount or refund offered at all for issues that occured location great house not.

Bday get away for my daughter

The house is very small for how many people it sleeps. The sink was clogging in the bathroom and didn’t drain very well, bathroom toilet seat is terrible as it moved every time you sat on it, the house next to us had issues with the lock so we were able to luckily help them with their pets but very frustrating to not have help to be able to fix the lock issue. It was nice to have the house so close to be able to walk into town for the shopping and places to eat. It was nice to be able to be so close to everything. I will say I didn’t like the parking situation at the house as I think somehow there should be a better setup for that like where the plants are to be able to get out easier as it is hard to get out with all the oncoming busy traffic. My daughter did enjoyed her birthday weekend away tho with her friend and it was nice to be so close to everything and they loved the bunk room. The bed was very comfortable to sleep on and the air conditioning was working great on these hot couple days.

Small space

The place really only sleeps 4. Has two full beds in the bedrooms. Does have a pull out couch, but is basically springs in a twin bed shape. There are cameras aimed at the fire pits, which make sitting out there uncomfortable and the bathroom is extremely small. The property does have wifi and a smart tv.

We currently live in Pittsburgh, by way of a decade in Louisiana. My husband grew up not far from GOTL in Ohio. We have spent many summers ourselves in GOTL (including getting married there!) and wanted to share this area with other travelers who are looking for a quieter summer getaway.

Why they chose this property

My husband spent many summers in GOTL growing up, and we want to continue the tradition with our own family. We love the quaint area very much, and got married at the Lodge as well. We have a long history in GOTL and hope you enjoy it as much as we do! We love that this property is a short walk to the Strip, but is quiet at night and not part of the lively Strip itself.
