4 Bedroom, 2 Bath First Floor Condo Across The Street From 54th Street Beach
Margie & Ralph Schellinger
About Margie & Ralph Schellinger
Our family has been vacationing in Ocean City, New Jersey for over 30 years! During this time we have been lucky enough to make many memories in America's Greatest Family Resort and plan to pass on our fun family traditions for generations to come. My husband and I grew up in Northeast Philadelphia. After getting married and having three amazing daughters, we moved to the northwest Philadelphia suburbs. We have been living there for 30 years and love the peace and tranquility it offers. Our daughters have grown up and set off on their own. All three now live close by with the third just returning home after living in the DC area for the last 18 years. One of them even got married on the 58th Street Beach. This makes us cherish our Ocean City vacations even more! We are both retired from our jobs as an electrician at the local power plant and a school nurse. We are now both working part-time to keep ourselves busy. In addition to working part time, we enjoy spending time with our mother who lives with us and as much time with our three amazing grandchildren. They sure do keep us young at heart!

Why Margie & Ralph Schellinger chose Ocean City
Other than how amazing the house is, we chose to purchase this property because of the location on the island as well as the proximity to the beach. Although we love going to the boardwalk a few nights out of our vacation week, we prefer the slower pace on the south end of the island. Nothing beats spending the entire day on the beach and then only having a short walk back to the house. Once back at the house, you can rinse off the sand and sunscreen, settle in with a cold cocktail and prepare a family meal to be shared by multiple generations. Who doesn't like mom's spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread?! This property is ideal for family game nights, fishing on the beach after the bulk of the sunbathers have gone home, trips to Ala Mode (YUM!) or taking the short 3 mile ride over to the Sea Isle City for a night on the town. We hope that you enjoy your stay and have the opportunity to make as many fantastic family memories - just like we have!

This property was super clean and gorgeous!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book this property again!!
The vacation home was very modernized and extremely clean and comfortable. It supplied all the necessary amenities and I would recommend the home to all.
Communication with the owner was stellar throughout the entire process.
The deck on this home is perfect ! We all were able to sit out at night . Walk to the beach is great - and there is a local store, donut shop, ice cream and subs one block away.
Beach tags were great to have as well.
Great place for families!
Great place to stay for families. The beach is very child friendly. The beds were softer than our preference and the air conditioning was a little weak, but we had a great time. No complaints at all. Perfect!!!
Great place to stay.
supposed to be bikes no bikes noise from dogs up stairs grille very dirty hair in tub when we arrived
I hope you enjoyed your stay at our beach house although some things were not satisfactory for you.
We are sorry about the bikes. We had taken them to be serviced the weekend prior to your stay. The bike shop was very busy and did not get them done in time for us. I did explain this to you when you contacted me regarding the missing bikes.
You did report that the drains in the shower were sluggish. I don't believe any hair was left in the tub or shower areas since we cleaned the unit thoroughly a couple of days before you rented.
Thank you for making us aware of the slow drains. We had them cleaned out last weekend.
I understand that the dogs are a nuisance. There are different owners upstairs. I will bring this to their attention.
Thank you for sending in a review. We try hard to have everything in perfect shape but at times things don't go as planned. Hopefully you will consider staying at our beachhouse in the future.
