we were shocked that the Mutiny charged an additional $61.42 for 2 nights parking and one night we didn't even have a car there!!!
Oh! We will forward this comment to the Mutiny hotel. If you haven't done so, you might let them know the charge was incorrect. Higher end resorts do often have parking fees. We hope the remaining portions of the stay were favorable.
Bait and Switch..BEWARE!
Room was nothing like what was pictured. The room I was put in had a full size bed, no balcony in the bedroom as shown. There was a balcony in the living room which overlooked a parking lot. The room was located on the second floor, so there was no view. The front desk at the Mutiny tried to help me out. They offered me a room on the 5th floor. This room had a queen bed, but no balcony in the bedroom, and the balcony in the living room overlooked a parking garage and parking lot. Still no view as pictured in the listing. I had booked this property many months ago (2/11/16), so this is not a "newly listed Florida resort". The description of the room was changed after I complained. When I originally booked this room 8 months ago, there was nothing stated (like there is now) that you may not get a room as pictured and a balcony with a view is not guaranteed. I have my original paperwork and receipts which do not have any disclaimers about the room you may or may not get. Customer service through the rental company (not Homeaway) was awful and terrible customer service. Beware...you will not get the room pictured!
We do our best to portray accurate information. The moment we find out our information needs correction, we jump on it make sure our guests know what to expect. If a guest alerts that our information is misleading, we do, absolutely, change it at once.
Some hotels offer reservations for rooms then place guests in the rooms that are available when they arrive. When we know this is true, we let the guests know.
