Lovely stay in Moraira
Really lovely stay at Casa Bonita. Both the owner and the local property manager were fantastic and very helpful. The villa was lovely, lots of space and our girls loved the pool and extras such as the table tennis table. Great location and the perfect place to explore the local area. We went to many of the local villages. Would not hesitate to recommend a stay here.
Lovely lovely lovely
Really nice villa plenty of room we were a family of 8 and no problems whatsoever
Wow - great villa and great location
Just returned from holiday and already wanting to go back!!
The villa was well laid out - we were two families of 4 adults and children of 16,13 and 4. The main bedrooms ( 2 very good size double en-suites) plus one twin where upstairs and there was a separate downstairs very large en-suite twin room which the older kids loved.
The pool was so welcoming along with the nice touch of the covered area with a fan and radio. There is a separate downstairs area with rattan furniture which offers a shaded seating area.
We made good use of the pool table and the kids loved it - there is also a table tennis table - all cues etc are supplied.
In addition to a large well stocked kitchen there is an external BBQ and seating area which has a sun sail giving shade.
The villa is a 15 minute walk down hill into the town centre - we walked back which is back uphill if you don't fancy the uphill walk you can grab a taxi.
There is room to park two cars outside of the villa.
Would recommend Bar 21 and Ca Pepe as local restaurants - lots of other good restaurants in the town.
Nicola was easy to deal with and ensured that you had all necessary details and documents. Steve looks after everything locally and whilst we never actually saw him he kept in contact ensuring and checking we had everything and that there were no issues or problems.
Overall - great villa, great location and we would definitely recommend!!
Just had 10 lovely days in Moraira. We were lucky as it was festival time so there was lots going on in the evenings which we all enjoyed. We were a party of two grandparents, our two daughters with partners and 2 granddaughters (3 year old and 10 month old). It takes 25 minutes to walk into Moraira centre from Casa Bonita. Moraira is lovely and unspoilt. It's the perfect place for young families and couples. If you want to party to the early hours then it's not the place for you. We ate out most nights and you're spoiled for choice for restaurants. All our meals were excellent.
This next part of my review I'm writing in the hope that some things at Casa Bonita will be improved for future travellers. The outside space is fantastic and the pool is lovely (we paid for pool heating). There are several terraces all of which we used. The inside however would benefit from some improving. Most days we had trouble with the boiler when showering in that the water was cold. It generally required someone to run the kitchen tap which usually kicked the boiler into life. If that didn't work then we had to switch the power off and on. The grout on the bottom of the shower cubicles was black in places as was the sealant. We did mention this to the maintenance man who told us that the builder hadn't use anti fungal grout but that the showers were clean. This may well have been the case but it really didn't look very nice. Also there were areas in the kitchen that could have done with a good clean. The cutlery drawer was full of crumbs, the kitchen cupboards had dirty splash marks over them, the cupboard handles were all sticky and the fridge door had dirty fingerprints all over it.
There's no doubt that this villa is cleaned between guests in that the beds and floors are cleaned but it would definitely benefit from a much more thorough clean more often.
Having said the above if the cleaning issue was resolved (or perhaps we were just unlucky) then I would recommend this villa as it was a good size in a perfect location.

The villa is fabulous with everything you could possibly need. Beautifully presented it truly feels like ‘home from home’. Everything is very clean and as a family with older children it was great to have en-suite bathrooms for two of the bedrooms. There is lots of space throughout and the kitchen has a good sized fridge / freezer along with oven, hob and microwave should you wish to eat at home. A good Wi-Fi connection kept our two teenagers happy along with Sky T.V. and the downstairs lounge room provided more in the way of an Xbox and a computer. Another big plus is the air conditioning in all the rooms which was much needed during our stay as the weather was very hot.
The villa is set in a quiet location with stunning views across the countryside and very private with a lovely pool which you can enjoy lit up in the evenings. The garden boasts both lemon and lime trees and beautiful flowering shrubs and bushes. There is also a barbecue area which even includes a stone pizza oven.
You can easily walk into Moraira from the villa (takes about 15 to 20 minutes downhill straight from the villa). You can get a taxi back up for around 6 euros. Moraira itself offers plenty of restaurants and bars and benefits from the absence of rowdy night clubs!! The beach at Moraira was more than adequate and catered for all the family.
We would highly recommend Casa Bonita for a family holiday and would return again.
Sitting on the Costa Blanca, the protected village of Moraira oozes charm and beauty. This small fishing village has a large array of bars, cafes and restaurants for any occasion. Situated 1 hours drive from Alicante, Moraira is in an abundance of local attractions. Take a drive down the winding costal roads to discover some of the hidden coves and beaches, or venture up into the mountains for a spectacular view. Moraira is also around an hours drive from Valencia which also offers a number of tourist attractions. Of course that’s not all, Moraira itself often plays host to traditional Spanish events throughout the year.
