James Hanna purchased this Apartment in 2015
Why James Hanna chose Massillon
This property is so cool. The wall mounted jukebox, full kitchen, king size bed, full bathroom with claw foot tub and the original wood has been preserved.
What makes this Apartment unique
This is a very affordable get away on a brick road lined with historic homes. Amish country and any store you would need in less than a mile away. It is so private and quiet. Please do not wear high heels in the home !!! The heels are putting gouges in the wood floor !!

WHAT A GREAT BEAUTIFUL AMAZING PLACE!
We had a great time, all the positive comments are exactly right, this was an amazing place to stay! Check in and out was a breeze. It was like taking a trip back into the 1800s but with modern amenities as well. The juke box was a pleasant plus. We would absolutely stay here again!
We loved our stay at this historic building. It is clean and well maintained.
GREAT PLACE TO STAY
Very clean and beautiful place. It looks amazing Inside and has a very special feel to it with the features that were kept from the historical carriage house. Well located downtown Massillon. The owner was very nice and easy to deal with.
Thank you Denis. You were great and very understanding. You left the place in great shape. Thank you again.
Great space. I enjoyed the jukebox.
Very nice area to walk around. Right on the main drag downtown. Traveling with a pet sometimes you have to settle for a bit less but this place is top notch. James is very prompt with getting back to you. Highest ratings.
Clean, Comfortable, FULL of Character
I stayed at the 1882 Carriage House for a full week while in Massillon training a new co-worker and it was awesome. The whole place is very clean, the kitchen is stocked with the essential tools to cook all meals (you gotta supply the food of course), extremely comfortable bed, wonderful claw-foot tub and great shower, options for heating and cooling to your desired room temperature and all with the character and charm of staying in a place built in the 19th century. The owners are very responsive and friendly. The pricing is reasonable for what you get. Also the surrounding neighborhood is chalk full of older 19th and early 20th century architecture. Downtown Massillon is walking distance and grocery shopping is a short drive away.
What a great and intersting find!
We loved our stay here. The apartment isn't like anything else we've stayed in, full with rustic charm and plenty of space. The large hay loft window let a great breeze in; the free jukebox was fun. So many tv channels! Lots of elbow room for me and my wife to do our own thing, or a nice table to do stuff together. Comfy bed. Highly recommended.
Great people and they left the property in excellent condition. Thank you so much. I appreciate it.
