Overall a Good Stay with a few things I wish I would have known prior
I appreciated the cleanliness of the space and the charming, walkable neighborhood—it was a comfortable spot to come home to after exploring the city. It was also a nice touch to have an umbrella available for that one rainy day; that really came in handy!That said, there are a few things future guests may want to be aware of. The upstairs neighbor is extremely loud—lots of heavy footsteps and stomping that went on for hours this covered the expanse of the unit so there was no escape, making it difficult to concentrate while working. It was even audible through a phone call to the person I was on the phone up. Also, while the area felt very "safe", I would have felt more secure with an additional lock (like a chain or additional deadbolt) on the exterior doors, especially as a solo female traveler. The back larger bedroom could use a few updates—namely, curtains for more privacy (the blinds leave quite a bit exposed) and consistent lighting. The two recessed ceiling lights over the bed don’t match the rest of the house and are missing recessed bulbs, which feels odd and slightly unsettling. The Kitchen has your basic needs met, but not much extra than that, but will certainly suffice for small meals. The mattress in the back bedroom was unexpectedly very comfortable! So much so I made a note to look into that particular mattress for my guest roomWith a few small tweaks, this would be an even better stay. I hope this feedback is helpful!
