charming, comfortable, convenient, and great value
Greystone Unit 410 is lovely. Rick provided quick feedback about questions during the booking process and the information to access the unit was an easy process. Photos are very representative of the unit. We loved the charming Adirondack decor (the moose and bear motif). Beds and linens were very nice quality and we had comfortable sleeps. The microwave and fridge were excellent amenities, and the unit was very clean (including the bathroom, which was spotless). The front desk manager was very friendly and although we never had any issues requiring his help, it was nice to feel welcomed. The location is fantastic - ski in/out for those who downhill, and an easy walk down the hill to the Fairmont (5 mins), or into the village (about 10-15 mins). The Lost Lake x-country ski/snowshoe area was an easy 15 min walk. We appreciated having ski locker access for our snowy gear. The hot tub and pool area was clean and both were the perfect temperature. The building is well kept and was mostly quiet (only on one night did a bunch of loud partiers wake us up as they clattered around in the hallway at 3am); considering how busy Whistler was pre-Christmas, the Greystone was very peaceful. Very minor suggestions for improvement: a few more clothes hangers would be helpful (for our 5-night stay, we needed a few more); a few more hooks to hang bathrobes or wet towels/items would be good (maybe an over-the-door hook, as the one small towel bar is not quite enough); a boot tray for wet footwear, to avoid damaging the carpet. Everything was great! We found it hard to leave and we would highly recommend the place.
