A great location to explore the north east coastline
The best thing about this villa for us is it’s quiet location and also it’s location as a base to explore the north east coastline .
The pool was a bit smaller than we had expected from the photos but overall we had a lovely time in this clean , well priced villa.
Thank you for your positive comments and for booking with us in Corfu.
We would welcome you again anytime.

Good Villa - spacious with great views!
The villa was overall very good. The road up is very windy and narrow so not for the inexperienced driver....There was lots of excellent space inside the house for us as a couple. Two ensuite bedrooms with aircon was very good. Comfortable bed, good linen and nice bathrooms. We struggled however all week with barely any water in the showers or bathrooms. It was described by the Agent as "low pressure", but showering and hair washing was nearly impossible. We have stayed in about 8 different villas in the area, some much higher, so I think the water pressure could be sorted. The outside space around the pool is very small and "rustic" - not enough space for 4 adults to relax. The wooden decking looks tired and would warrant upgrading, which is a pity as the pool was very good - small, but very refreshing. Views from the top terrace and the lounge terrace area are lovely and we enjoyed sitting out for breakfast and evening meals. Unfortunately some of the cutlery in the drawer was very dirty so we washed the lot. I would not have been happy to use these straight from the drawer in that state. The area is pretty and very quiet. I also like the mosquito nets on all of the windows - helps to keep any flying insects out! Overall we had a nice time and the one small issue we had with the pool was sorted by the Agent within a few hours.
Charming villa with breathtaking views
Best view ever! Clean, quiet, private, neat and everything works! 12 min walk to small beautiful beach with taverna, 15 min up. There is good bus service but you'll want a car to get around. Everything advertised and more. Easy and simple to rent. Definitely recommend this, we're coming back. 5 out of 5.
Panoramic view but steep hillside access
Our second visit to Nissaki in Corfu, some ten years apart. Access to villa was a bit hair raising climbing for 2 km up 14 hairpin bends. The directions are not clear and need revising with other villa names as pointers. The views are worth the climb. The panoramic view over the bay to Corfu Town and Albania are outstanding. The two verandahs are superb but unfortunately the season of wasps and hornets seriously limited our chances to enjoy this facility. Villa is comfortable for 4 people, water pressure is not great in bathrooms and TV is internet based like most of Europe these days - great if signal is ok. Local tavernas were good especially Taverna Nicholas in Agni Bay, Greek night excellent value at 25€.
See the sun rising from your bedroom window
We spent a wonderful time at Villa Vigla in Vigglatouri, from October 3rd until Otober 17th this year. We had a wonderful vacation. It was so peaceful and quite here. We loved the location of the Villa and the house itself lets you feel at home from the first moment. It was spacious, sunny and with big balconies. The pictures show exactly what you will find. We also found plenty of useful information material about the Island, where to go, where to shop, where to eat... ecc.
This place is perfect for people who like to spend a quite vacation and don't need to go out every night. But even if you wanted to go out every night; there are plenty of tavernas reacheable by car in a couple of minutes.
We have been spending our holidays in vacation homes for years, and had good and bad experiences. Our stay at Vigla has been so far best we ever had.
The booking was easy. Meander Travel staff was reliable and friendly and always there to help us. We had someone waiting for us at the airport giving us latest instructions on the house.
We also had a very good experience with the car rental company Corfu Sunrise. We booked the car, we got a confirmation. Someone was waiting for us at the airport. We paid the car, got the keys and contract. At the departure we just had to leave the car in the parking.
We have been travelling a lot on the island and liked the NE up to Ag. Spyridon best. We enjoyed the inland around Mt Pantokrator as well as Paleokastritsa and the surroundings. We really disliked the southern part and Sidari. The beaches were all clean (Nissaki is the nearest to Villa Vigla), the water was nearly everywhere cristal clear.
So if you are looking for a nice place to stay we can really recommend Villa Vigla in Vigglatouri.
Nissaki sits on the north east coast and stretches along 4 kilometres of olive tree clad coastline and incorporating 3 pretty beaches.
Nissaki Bay is the closest beach to Vigla and an idyllic Greek setting of white pebbles overlooked by a couple of excellent tavernas. Kaminaki is further north and approached by a steep road that ends on the beach where you will find pristine waters with nearby tavernas and finally Krouzeri, a long stretch of pebbly beach. All beaches have sun beds and umbrellas to hire as well as a varying selection of water sports and motorboat hire.
You will find a good selection of eateries on the main road always with stunning sea views from their dining areas.
Nissaki is a wonderful sport to unwind either from your hillside villa with uninterrupted sea views or by the beach savouring your Greek mezes!
Just a few kilometres from Nissaki you can reach the popular bay of Agni or further to Kassiopi in the north and Barbati is just a few minutes drive south.
