decent home but needs more supplies for cooking and repairs
For a place that supposed to accommodate such a large number of people, it is inadequately furnished with cooking supplies. There were no Tupperware, no crockpot, no casserole dishes, no cookie sheets, no roaster pan, and only one very small sheet for cooking in the oven. The oven desperately needed to be cleaned and would smoke up the house when it was used. The can opener didn't work, couldn't find a pizza cutter, and the water wouldn't turn on when the sprinkler was running outside. There is no ice machine and only one fan in the family room worked. Also, it's not stated in the description, but all of the bedrooms are upstairs except for one and the stairs are very rickety. Men have to go up them sideways because they're large feet will not fit going forward on the stairs. We ended up having to buy Tupperware, toilet paper and paper towels. When we arrived, all the towels were in the washing machine so we had to dry them and fold them ourselves. In addition, the dryer vent was so full. It looked like it hadn't been changed in years, causing a potential fire hazard. I would not rent this place again for the price. The pictures on the website make it look a lot nicer than it actually is.
