Lovely condo, great location
We rented for 13 days over Christmas 2017-2018. This condo actually looks better in person than in the photos and has all the amenities described. It was comfortable, clean and had a well-stocked kitchen. When we arrived at 1am on Christmas Day, the condo already had TP, sugar, salt, olive oil, coffee filters, clean towels, sheets, etc. It was an easy start-up for us. There's free in-building parking for one vehicle but a parking lot down the street charges a reasonable rate ($10/day?) for visitors needing additional 24-hour parking. The hot tub is clean and well-maintained. There are two equally clean pools -- heated and unheated -- depending on your preference. We didn't use the gym but the equipment looked to be in good repair and functional. The service desk is staffed 24-hours/day, making this a very secure building. It is mostly inhabited by full-time residents, all of whom were friendly and helpful. This a real community of people -- kids, dogs, people of all ages. Noisy, partying guests would not be welcome.
The condo's location can't be beat. A nearby CVS and a 7-11 both sell basic groceries for quick runs. A full-service Publix grocery store is a 10-minute walk in the Mary Brickell Village and farther down the street is a Whole Foods. (Try Peat's Coffee at Publix; it's terrific!) There are nearby cafes for easy, cheap breakfasts and lunches.
Located in the Brickell neighbourhood of downtown Miami, this condo gives you a great launching point to a variety of activities. You are within 10 minutes' walk of a large number of restaurants, bars, cafes, dancing and music. A 10-minute drive takes you to the heart of Little Havana, South Beach, Vizcaya, and the Wynwood Walls. (Use Uber to reduce parking headaches at Wynwood.) The Aventura Mall is 30 minutes away by car. The Keys are 1.5 hours away by car. We had a great vacation. I highly recommend this condo and location.
