About Shari Cope-Dembowski
Welcome to our home away from home in beautiful Puerto Rico. We are a family of 8 siblings that have been blessed to receive this condo when our parents passed away. Our parents found Puerto Rico in 1972 and bought into the ESJ Time Share in 1974 (which we still own today). It was easy to bring in food and that made it affordable. We loved to travel to Puerto Rico as a huge family back then, and even made life-long friends still in touch with today. In 1989 they purchased this condo right next door. They LOVED Puerto Rico- EVERYTHING about it! The short distance from NY, the shorter distance from the airport here (8 minutes)- without any of the noise! (I don't know how PR did it) The beach and ocean view from the huge balcony- hearing the water lapping up on the shore, watching the palm tree fronds waving in the breezes... Sitting under those palm trees during the day in the shade provided. Walking into crystal clear, rippled water- no undertow here on Isla Verde Beach with the reefs protecting us. Sharing the beach with the very posh El San Juan Hotel- which back in the day was THE SPOT to be. I have many memories of meeting celebrities on the beach there, as well as the Casino and Bar area was always hopping. They needn't travel far for a great time. The people here on the Island are very friendly- they actually stop to let you cross the street, they can't do enough for you. This is a more low-key, family friendly area. Spending the days on the beach, eating pinchas from Sandra's food truck (at the end of Gardenia, right on the cement walkway at the beach. Watching for the Ice Cream Man who walks the shoreline with the most delicious coconut (more like a gelato), or mango flavored- so goooood. Taking a walk down the beach is a favorite thing to do- stopping to see the wares that folks are selling. There is an excellent Hot Dog Stand down a ways, great dogs. Just passed him on the road are 2 great lunch & beverage spots.

Why Shari Cope-Dembowski chose Isla Verde
My parents fell in love with Puerto Rico on their Honeymoon, and went back so many years they finally purchased this beautiful condominium apartment. The privacy... sitting on the 8th floor balcony, or enjoying the pool without crowds. The location is fantastic; on the beach and only 2 miles to the San Juan International airport. Hotels, shopping, entertainment are all within 3 blocks of our building. Water sports are available right on our beach which we share with the 'El San Juan Hotel and Casino'. The Ritz Carlton Hotel is 2 blocks East of our building. You can walk 3 blocks to the Pharmacy (Rite Aid) and Pueblo market is just 1 mile away. You can catch the bus 3 blocks from condo, in front of El San Juan Hotel into Old San Juan and site seeing El Morro Castle. There are many restaurants and activities within walking distance. You can rent bicycles from VIAS car rental, 2 blocks away. You can sit quietly under the palm trees, or go mingle with the families from the ESJ Towers. Down the beach a bit more is El San Juan Hotel & Casino and they are usually pretty busy.
What makes this condo unique
Our Private Oceanfront Balcony affords a 'Breathtaking View' of the entire three mile Isla Verde beach. It is where we like to have our breakfast, and evening cocktails. Watching sunsets, and seeing the downtown area come to life with lights at night. Walking off the property right onto the beautiful white sand beach... Handicapped accessible, 24 Hour Security,
