I am always available, I like talking to people, I am a tireless traveler, I love nature, animals. I come from a family that owns a Spanish school and travel agency and so has been dedicated to the incoming tourism and hospitality industry for over 25 years in Costa Rica.

Since childhood I enjoyed sharing experiences with people from all over the world, I inherited the love for hospitality from my parents and my work experience during 15 years in the tourism industry in family business, this has allowed me to acquire a depth of understanding of the changing needs and preferences of our guests.

With my experience I hope to exceed your expectations, my goal is to make you feel as comfortable as if you were at home.

This property was passed down to my father by his father Don Francisco Gonzalez a farmer who inherited his 8 children and one nephew who he considered as a son.

Our business was founded in 1992 as a family project; which started with a Spanish School for foreigners, arises from the need to satisfy different accommodation options for our customers, who since then have honored us with their presence.

Today, our lodge receives visitors from all over the world as well as within the country, highlighting mainly because of its strategic location in addition to its warm and relaxing natural, ecological, environment with high social responsibility and friendly service.

From then until now, we continue your service by offering our extensive experience in the tourism sector, with spirit and love of hospitality, developing a hotel special and unique features in the area, being the first hotel in the Guácima of Alajuela spacious green areas with lush tropical gardens, providing a place of rest and excellent service with friendly service that guarantees satisfaction of our guests.

The sons of its founders work every day preserving the values ​and vision of our parents who have managed to inculcate in order to offer our guests all the comforts for a pleasant stay in our house because Guacima Country Inn is our home and our mission is to make you feel like yours to choose us.

Our strategic location at only 10 minutes driving from the airport, close from Forum Santana, Escazú, San José, Heredia and Alajuela city. We are at one hour away from Poás volcano national park, close to the most convenient highway for the south, central and north Pacific coast beaches.
