Beautiful house in a perfect location
Very attractive property and full of character. Owners pleasant and helpful. Wonderful location. This was absolutely perfect for us.
Our first visit to the UK, and started the first week at Castle Cliffe East. What a great location, fantastic accommodations. Loved the back garden on the river. I know our family will be staying here again. Thank you!!
In a fantastic location. We had a brilliant stay and appreciated everything about the house and location. Lovely to have a Hereford on the doorstep, but peace and quiet of riverside and parkland. Highly recommend.
Historic house in centre of Hereford
Great historic house moments from Hereford Cathedral in the centre of the city, overlooking the beautiful River Wye and parkland on the other side. Lovely Riverside garden to watch the wildlife and canoes go by. Comfy four-poster bed and Victorian roll top Bath.
This is a wonderful historic property full of charm and character, very comfortable and quiet, with fantastic garden overlooking the river. It’s location is unbeatable - very close to the Cathedral, historic centre, shops and restaurants. Phil is a wonderful and attentive host.
Thank you for your lovely review. It was a pleasure to have you as our guests and we're glad you enjoyed the house and the location so much.
Hereford is situated in the Welsh Marches on the banks of the River Wye. Surrounded by tranquil parkland, it has riverside gardens and is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, theatre, cinema, Hereford Cathedral and the world famous Mappa Mundi Exhibition. The house also also provides easy access to beautiful countryside, Welsh castles, Cardiff, Bath and Hay-on-Wye. Visit the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons national Parks, tour black and white villages for antiques and tea and cake, or drive along the beautiful Wye Valley to Tintern Abbey and the Devil's Pulpit.
