Beautiful location

We enjoyed our stay in Rawai. The place is clean and the scenery is beautiful. This beach is not really a swimming beach, but those are within 20 minutes. The pool outside our door was nice and refreshing. Directions from Jack were helpful on all of our questions.

Beach front stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. Air conditioning is a must. The manager ,Jack, speaks fluent English and was very helpful and friendly. He was a terrific help with navigating us through everything we wanted to do. His suggestions for food service were excellent. There is a Mexican restaurant right across the road, a 5 minute walk , a must do! Jack truly made us feel welcome and made our stay special. The beach at the hotel is a great place to relax but not suitable for swimming. Great beaches are only minutes away by scooter. You can rent a scooter from any one of several vendors within walking distance. One note of caution, wear a helmet and get you international drivers license. The police love to harass tourists on scooters and demand cash payment for these offences. We found this out the hard way. This was really the only blight on an otherwise terrific adventure.

Fantastic property and facilities

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.Jack the manager and his staff were all very kind and nothing was any trouble at all.We were provided with accurate information about the area. The room was superb and very well equipped.The room was cleaned every day and bottled water left free of charge. My wife and I loved our stay and would recommend Chalong bay resort to anyone wanting a quite and relaxing stay.
