About Jay Nisbet
My bride Kristalynn and I live in Texas and have six children and 2 grandchildren. Our children range in ages 12 yrs to 40 yrs. We each grew up close to the ocean, I am from Boston and my bride lived in Hawaii. We love beautiful beaches and can not be away from them for long periods of time. I bought our 1st beach house (71701) for my bride's birthday. We gutted the house down to the studs and completely remodeled it. I decided to start renting the house to make up for some of the monthly expenses and it turned into a great small business. We named our home Summerwind (after the Frank Sinatra song that played at our wedding). We decided to expand in 2005 and bought another house in Panama City Beach (67499) and renovated that as well. Both houses have been a wonderful blessing for us. The families we meet and the memories they make at our homes are a precious gift. Guests have told me stories of their children asking them, 'when are we going back to our beach house'. That is so satisfying to us. Summerwind is truly your 'home away from home'.We have been looking at buying another house in 2012 and now that goal has been realized. WE DID IT!!! This is the newest addition to our collection of beach homes in the Destin-Panama City Beach area. We are so excited to get started with the new decor. We bought our 4th and fifth homes in 2015 (sold this one "cha-ching") and 2016 #767599. We are blessed again-Jesus Loves US this I know.

My wife and I study the Destin and Panama City Beach real estate markets. We have viewed hundreds of homes and have walked through more than I care to count. We have a well defined footprint for the vacation homes we acquire. This home not only met the criteria of our footprint, it has a wonderful southern charm to it and provides a peaceful, relaxing aura. The previous owner gave us the same warm feeling and she had put so much love into the house that it just felt like home. We also love the street it has a wonderful beach charm with sidewalks and white picket fences. We love sitting on the front porch watching families walk back and forth to the beach. The neighbors that live here full time are awesome too. We love CUDA and you will too. we also chose this property for the location and proximity to the beach. It had enough room to put in a full court basket court and kids and adults love to play.
What makes this House unique
This house has been lived in by the original owner only. It has never been on the rental program. The house is on the tax roles as being built in 1992. It was not completed until 1996 and that is when the original owner took possession. The home was well maintained and just needs a little Kristalynn (my bride) to give it the Summerwind look and feel. It has a wonderful private pool and a full court basketball court. It is a very short 60 PACES to the beach. IMAGINE seeing the gulf, you can hear it and smell it TOO. We have had several weddings in the short time we have owned the house. We have also have had several women's retreats. Imagine sitting on the front deck on a quiet street with white pickets fences just relaxing and watching the people stroll by. You have access to a extra wide walk way for walking, running, or biking less than 30 yards away. This home is located super close to restaurants, coffee shop, and shopping all within walking distance.
