The absolutely amazing NYC view !!
This private loft style duplex apartment has ground floor entrance ! Be amazed !!! View from the rear deck is complete with a north to south New York Manhattan skyline view. The spacious deck is where you are free to use the BBQ and enjoy the amazing New York City Skyline View!

The first floor consists of a spacious living room and kitchen as well as a sizable dinning table to enjoy dinner with the family & friends. In the living room you will enjoy the incredible sunrise over the New York skyline with deck access. Provided in the living room his one triple fold down full size sofa bed. The other larger triple seat sofa folds down into a queen size bed also two comfortable single seat sofas.

As you enter duplex apartment there is the flow thru living room included within a fully equipped kitchen, 32”refrigerator, 24”dishwasher, large 36” stove top oven with built in 32” microwave vented range hood, Coffee maker, toaster, blender, dining ware including 12 large plates,12 small plates, 12 bowls, 12 coffee/tea cups, 12 drinkIbg glasses, 12 wine glasses, baking trays, pots, pans, knives, forks, spoons, cooking utensils. We also provide basic condiments like cooking oil, salt, pepper, some spices, sugar ,coffee, tea, diary mate,

Down stairs are the 3 bedrooms with windows facing the amazing NYC skyline !!!

Bedroom #1 The left side Bedroom has one full size Posturepedic bed including a wall mounted TV, one dresser to store clothing, bed side table in addition there is a storage chest/ padded seat with extra bedding inside !This room has its own private entrance/ exit to the large community garden space. (Note larger suitcases & luggage can be brought through the bed room private entrance !).

Bedroom #2 The middle Bedroom has one full size Posturepedic bed including a customized fold out desk with chair also a medium sized dresser to store clothing.

Bedroom #3 The right side Bedroom includes two full-size posturepedic beds and a built in closet. If requested an advanced extra pillows, linens, bedding can be provided inside this closet including extra towels. Also includes medium sized dresser & bedside table.


Please request in advance for the Inflatable airbeds.
The air beds are for additional guest only included in the reservation booking. The self-inflating air beds can be supplied in twin, full and queen size mattresses if requested in advance airbeds are normally stored and ready for use in all the storge chest or closets! Please feel free to ask to have the air mattresses setup in advance, as we would be happy to do this for our guests.


The two larger of the rooms have a private entrance to the back garden where you can see the skyline and plenty of space for the kids to play in the back garden facing NYC!

Private Parking is available, this must be reserved and we have limited spots or free street residential parking pass is available upon request, street parking is not guaranteed, you need to drive around and find a spot with in 4 blocks of the unit. No guaranteed parking for instant bookings, the parking may have been rented already.

The Neighborhood

See New York Now !!! The Big Apple is seen right in our backyard! Traveling to Manhattan usually is only a 15-20min drive or the NJ Transit Bus stop (123 Bus to 42st Manhattan) is 1/2 block away from the apparent. Please ask about our guest recourse documents! There is a ton of info about museums, shopping locations, and site seeing locations! Please don't hesitate to ask for help or any question with travel needs!

There is a out door community Olympic size swimming pool right next door called Fireman's Memorial Park, including a kids swimming area! (opened seasonally ) Please ask ahead of time if you are planning on going.

There is a 24/7 bakery 1 & 1/2 blocks away between 6th and 7th Street on Palisade Ave. Hot chocolate, tea, cappuccinos, coffee !!! They have delicious pastries, fresh hot bread, croissants, bagels. And some of the basics, milk, butter, soda, juices, eggs.

There's a 24/7 Diner called the Coach House Dinner located on eighth Street and JFK (John F Kennedy) Boulevard.

We also recommend Rumbas restaurant in Jersey City. It's located next to the 2nd St Washington Park on Central Ave and North St. They serve authentic Cuban cuisine and the average meal $4 to $9! They also offer fresh squeezed juice!

In Washington Park, located on 2nd St and Palisade Av there is a football field, Soccer field, basketball courts and 12 tennis courts free for public use! Please let us know in advice we can supply our guest with tennis rackets upon request.

Family trip
My brother, sister, and I drove up to stay at this home. Though we saw pictures of the view, they didn’t capture how awesome it really is!! The place was more than accommodating for the three of us. It was super close to anything we needed (grocery store, bars, restaurants, brunch spot lol), and a short UBer to NYC. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had. Definitely a place that we will see if is available any time we make a trip back to our old stomping grounds!

Buyer Beware
I can’t honestly rate this property/stay so I tried to give it just an average overall rating. On the day we were supposed to arrive we got a call from the property owner stating that they had to cancel our reservation due to a family emergency. I trust his reasons but didn’t trust his comment that, “we never do this” because there is another review May 31, 2021 where the owner did the same thing. It’s probably a lovely property but it sure creates a hardship to have your reservation canceled the day you are expected to arrive. It doesn’t seem right that I can’t cancel suddenly but the property owner can. There should be some contractual obligation in place that protects the consumer. If you decide to reserve this property have a back up plan.

Horrible experience
The owner cancelled when we arrived at the property. We flew in from across the U.S. with our family and close friends, 4 adults and 6 children. We were supposed to stay for 1 week. The owner would not answer any of my calls and never sent me an email letting me know he was canceling. Two hours after we arrived at the property, he finally called. He asked us to keep our children quiet because his father could hear them outside. Thank goodness for VRBO customer service, they helped us get a hotel.

Very nice view
This wasn’t the cleanest property inside or out. I’m guessing it hasn’t been rented in a year or so due to covid. The view is what you would rent this place for, it’s beautiful ! Beds not that great.

Great place. We were in and out of NYC with ease. Peter stayed in contact and was very helpful. Spacious and comfortable. The view is priceless. We will be back.

Why they chose this property

Our apartment is only a 15 minutes ride into Manhattan (depending on traffic) with access to either Lincoln or Holland tunnels. The NJ Transit bus stop is also a block away from the apartment which takes you directly to 42st Port Authority station. Please let us know if we have not sent you our Guest Guide PDF document yet!
