The third floor provides an additional two private bedrooms (one with view of Newport Harbor), large closets, and full dressers. Another full bathroom is conveniently located here.
The crown jewel of the property is its pair of semi-private outdoor terraces, which span the third floor and rooftop, offering sweeping views of Newport Harbor.
On the ground floor, a semi-private backyard outfitted with picnic tables and a gas grill offers an ideal setting for outdoor dining and gatherings. The property includes one dedicated onsite parking space equipped with a complimentary Level 2 electric vehicle charger (compatible with both Tesla NACS and J1772 connectors), capable of delivering over 20 miles of range per hour. In addition, guests have access to two offsite parking spaces located on the adjacent block.

Sara and KC live in Boston, MA, where they work as a high school English teacher and a commercial real estate professional. They got engaged in 2024 and are excited for their Newport wedding in the summer of 2026.
After renting the Salt Box from the previous owner/host back in the summer of 2017, they knew it was a special place. So when it came up for sale in 2024, they jumped at the chance to make it their own. Since then, they’ve been hard at work re-furnishing, decorating, and upgrading the property.
When the Salt Box is not being rented, you’ll often find them in town—starting the day with a seasonal latte from the Nitro Bar, spending a sunny afternoon at Second Beach, or catching a live performance downtown.
