This adorable waterfront 400sqft 1BR/1BA is perfect for a relaxing getaway to one of time's forgotten treasures- Cedar Key. Located right on the Gulf, you can enjoy a sunset on the dock while grilling out or sipping on your drink of choice. We also enjoy fishing, crabbing, bird watching and launching our kayaks off of the dock. Downtown is only half a mile away and easily accessible by bike or foot if you don't want to drive.
The bedroom has a queen bed and there is a pullout bed in the living room so we can accommodate up to 4 people. With that said we do feel the house is best suited for 2 adults. As mentioned, the house is only 400 square feet. Perhaps the only place you might feel this is the bathroom so we recommend that you try to pack light in regards to toiletries! We supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a hair dryer.
Interested in a fishing charter? When you book with us you will get 10% off CTB Charters!
We do not have cable! We enjoy spending most of our time outdoors when we're in Cedar Key, but we do have a smart TV in the living room so if you have an account with Netflix, Hulu, or another app you can login to watch your favorite shows that way.
Unfortunately the town does not permit golf carts on State Road 24. We are just outside of the limits of where rentable golf carts can be driven legally. We recommend renting bikes as it’s a quick 0.5 mi to downtown!
2 night stay requests M-F will be considered.
We live about an hour away in Gainesville. We want you to have an amazing experience, so whatever we can do to make your experience better please do not hesitate to call!

Other things to note:
We live next to a clam nursery. Did you know that Cedar Key is the clam capital of the USA harvesting the largest number of clams in the country? Part of the process in raising clams involves drawing water from the Gulf into the nursery and then cycling it out again to introduce local bacteria and nutrients to the clams when they are about 6 months old (the size of your pinky nail). The only way this might affect your stay is the sound of running water pouring back into the Gulf. It cannot be heard from the house, only when you are on the back deck. It does not bother us and we actually find it quite soothing however we do think we should mention it. Make sure to have some clams while in town! Who knows, they may have come from next door!
