Renter Beware! We left after 24 hours on a 2 week rental! Yes. That bad!
Rent this property if you are in your twenties and are accustomed to living in a dormitory with late night parties in the hallway. Rent this property if you have low standards (missing doorknobs [INSIDE the bathroom...oops too late. You’re stuck], worn out and torn “decorative” pillows, no coffee maker, no clothes dryer, insufficient dishes, uncomfortable mattresses, smelly, crispy gray [were white once] towels.
We ventured into the Plaza St Ana to buy toilet paper, paper towels and water (none in the apt and not even a bottle of Cava to welcome us) and I returned without my passport! Thank you Carrefour.
I would attach pictures but the sight won’t let me! How convenient...because the lovely dishes don’t exist, the cute towels are missing, the nice bedroom chairs and lamps were gone and all the flowers are fake!

Great Location but DON'T STAY HERE
Location on Plaza Sta. Ana was great, but noisy like many other reviews stated. The property amenities list 2 beds as King. They are not. The 2 beds are Queen and are old, thin and uncomfortable. The property amenities also list a clothes dryer. There is no clothes dryer - but only a clothes drying rack. There is a coffee maker included in amenities, but there is no coffee pot/carafe for the coffee maker. The cleaning lady met us to let us in the apartment and then literally ran from the apartment and never explained anything. The owner/manager Isabel was completely unresponsive to these issues. She did not provide any information or make herself available to explain the apartment or the surroundings. One of the bedroom doors is missing a glass panel, preventing it from being a private accommodation. Several bedroom and a bathroom door handles/latches were missing or broken and therefore difficult to open and close. Overall, this apartment is NOT as advertised and is overall poor quality and condition. Do yourself a favor and rent a different apartment.
Spacious Apartment
Beautiful apartment in central location. Had a wonderful visit...Only drawback was the late night revelers in the plaza below. Gets very loud at night into the early morning hours!
Beautiful, wonderful location. Where's my phone?
I really want to give this place 5 stars because it's beautiful and the location is perfect. It's literally in the middle of Plaza Santa Ana where all the best bars and tapas restaurants are. Yet, somehow, the noise doesn't seem to be a problem. It's also right above a fantastic flamenco show that I highly recommend.
The reason I can't give it 5 stars is this: upon checking out of the apartment, there is no one to assist. You simply lock your keys in the apartment and leave. Unfortunately, when we were leaving, I forgot that my phone was charging and accidentally locked it in the apartment. We were leaving for the train station and had to get to our next destination so I had to leave it behind. I emailed the manager who promised to send it. Well, it's been almost a year and I never received my phone. I followed up several times, but they stopped responding. Bummer.
Great location and clean.
We really enjoyed our stay. Perfect for our family of 6. Close to all the main tourist attractions. We’d stay again when going back to Madrid.
