This beautiful canal front home is located on a quiet street in the exclusive north end of Anna Maria Island. The tastefully decorated 3 bedrooms, 3 baths home sleeps up to 8 people. The home is a block to Tampa Bay and three blocks to the sugar sand beach on the Gulf. It’s also just two blocks to the quaint shopping and restaurants of Pine Avenue and the City Pier.

The back yard is your own private piece of paradise. The saltwater pool is nestled among native palms, sea oats and mangroves for a very private experience. You’ll have your choice of two dining areas, a gas grill, and chaise lounges in the sun or the shade.

It’s a short trip on boat or kayak from the dock to Bimini Bay, Tampa Bay, Egmont and Longboat Keys, and the Gulf of Mexico. There are a number of waterfront restaurants close by where you can dock and enjoy a great meal.

If watercrafts aren’t your thing, the dock in your back yard is also a great place to fish, or just to sit and enjoy a beverage, watch the mullet jump and see the seabirds skim the water. In the winter months, it's not unusual to see dolphins and manatees cruise by.

If you must leave the island, the nearby Sarasota / Bradenton area is known for the arts, dining, shopping and baseball Spring training. Less than an hour North over the Skyway bridge is Saint Petersburg, with its Baywalk and Dali museum, and a little further North over the causeway puts you in Tampa with its own arts, sports and history, and a great Aquarium.

Whatever you choose to do – this beautiful home and Island is a great place to do it – or to just relax and do nothing at all.

Second time stay!

This year two for us and we adore this villa whenever we visit AMI. It's a solid 5/5 across the board. With the boat dock, mornings are effortless; we wake up, get ready, hop on the boat and head straight to the beach or fishing spots. Giovanna, the host, is fantastic; communication with her is top-notch. The house easily accommodates our entire family. Looking forward to returning in the future!

This property was spectacular! Very clean and well equipped for my family to have a comfortable and enjoyable vacation. We rented a boat and kept it on the dock for a couple days. We appreciated all the amenities the owner had available at the house (coolers, beach chairs, pool toys, etc.). Our family likes to cook in and the kitchen was well equipped and we especially appreciated the gas grill!! Host was an excellent communicator. We hope to be back!!

Family Gem

This was our 3rd spring break AMI trip for our family of six (including 3 teenagers), each of which we stayed in a rental home. Flexibility and space for everyone are of value to us. We chose this home based upon its location and the reviews. It did not disappoint, and of everything we loved the oudoor space best! The furniture was comfortable and set up to be a wonderful extension of the home. Most of us took advantage of the weather and the outdoor shower after a day of poolside or water activities. We grilled and ate a meal outside nearly everyday. Kids swam all times of the day in the heated pool. We rented SUPs, kayaks, and bikes and used them daily to explore. We also rented a golf cart for fun, but it was not necessary with the bikes. The layout inside is very thoughtful. My husband worked some on this trip so he was able to spread out on the dining room table, and we still had the kitchen table for eating. The laundry room also stores the beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys (thank you!) as well as a wagon. One thing we'd suggest to improve the property: open up the garage for ping pong or a pool table and allow for a secondary hang out for rainy days or teenagers. We loved our stay and appreciated Giovanna's communication and helpfulness!

Florida's west coast beaches have always been our favorite ones, and when we visited Anna Maria for the first time we immediately fell in love with it. The easy going life style of the island, sugar sand beaches, dolphins, manatees, birds! A year later we were living in PARADISE!

What makes this property unique

We loved the location of the home mainly because of the quite street. It's very secluded yet close to everything. We lived just a short time at Tarpon Home, and hope to come back and enjoy the island again.
The things that I miss about AMI are: Sunrise walks on the beach (all the way to the tip of the island), sunsets out on our dock, the residents and of course people like you that come to explore this beautiful place.
We are so blessed to have a place here and be able to share it with you.
Please treat yourself and enjoy AMI life while you are at our Tarpon home.
