Good value hotel close to public transportation.

We chose to stay in this hotel mainly because we considered it is good value and close to public transportation. Although the room is very small but it met our expectation. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is located in a non-tourist non attractive area, but is relatively safe and with plenty of cheap Latino restaurants (Macdonald and Kentucky are also very close). The hotel is very close to a metro station which could access 3 train lines to NY downtown and other parts of NY.

staff were friendly and welcoming, also helpful. Room was ok and appeared quite clean We stayed for 3 nights,on the third night I was bitten multiple times by what I believe to be bed bugs -not a pleasant experience. This was our last night before flying back to Australia. I messaged the hotel and sent a photo of the many bites but have never received an aknowledgement (strange that?) Hotel is not in a good area for tourists bt only 3 blocks from the subway.
