About Mark and Sue Werder
We have always wanted to "work where we live versus live where we work"....so in 2010 we took a chance and started our boutique vacation rental service business (Good Neighbor Vacation Rentals, LLC) in beautiful Estes Park, Colorado. In addition to operating our own vacation rentals, we are a boutique service provider to like-minded vacation rental homeowners. As travelers ourselves, we enjoy a high-quality travel/vacation experience; and in that regard, quality & customer service are at the top of our product offering...reflected in what our guests have to say (please check-out the reviews for all of our properties!!). "It's not just a transaction...for us it's our passion!" We are also diehard fans of the St. Louis Cardinals & Blues, Buffalo Bills & Sabres, world cup soccer, Pittsburgh Penguins (some of us!), VT Hokies and the Rocky Mountains!
Mark and Sue Werder purchased this House in 2013
Why Mark and Sue Werder chose Aspen Brook
We have spent many of our summer vacations visiting national parks and the RMNP is our hands-down favorite! We purchased our first home in this location (AspenHaus Lodge) in 2010. AspenHaus Cabin is an even cozier version located just right down the road!
What makes this House unique
Walk directly into the RMNP or access the shuttle bus by foot to avoid traffic and delays!
100% refund if cancelled at least 60 days before arrival date.
A home that welcomes you.
Aspen Brook was the perfect place to come home to after a day of hiking RMNP, AND the perfect place to just BE and enjoy the natural beauty of the location. The sound of the river across the street was peaceful and the home is equipped with everything you need. It's comfortable, incredibly clean, and easy to feel at home in. Hosts Sue and Mark are better than any five-star hotel concierge! Gave us so many tips, every one of them spot on! We'll be back!
Beautiful & Comfy cabin
Our family had a wonderful stay at Aspen Brook Cabin Haus. The cabin is immaculate and equipped with all the comforts home. It was a great place to call “home” after exploring the Majestic RMNP!
Mark & Sue bring a personal touch of Show Me state hospitality to each trip at the AspenHouse! From the Long’s Peak coffee to the mid week check ins, they are terrific hosts in an amazing setting. Thanks again!
Great RMNP jumping point
We loved this family friendly property, located next to the river and located less than 10 minutes from the main RMNP entrance. The extra touches were greatly appreciated, including a well stocked kitchen, coffee, and tasteful, cozy furnishings. My three sons loved running to the playground, located steps from the front door, each day. We also liked to explore the adjacent woods, home to deer, hummingbirds, and woodpeckers. It was hard to say goodbye, which is always a good sign! The owners also provided great communication and thoughtful notes.
Peaceful retreat in Estes Park
Great location for this property. We were able to walk approximately 1 mile along glacier creek over to tuxedo park. From there you can catch a shuttle every 15 minutes straight into RMNP....no parking fee, no lines, no driving, no mess inside your car. The cabin was very clean and had all the necessary amenities required to make the stay enjoyable. It is a very quiet and discreet community, from the road you don't even know it's there. We enjoyed our time here very much, thanks Sue!
This is one of the best properties we have ever rented through HomeAway. Beautiful setting. Well stocked kitchen. The owners checked in with us several times. Would rent again if ever in the area.
The Rocky Mountain National Park Beaver Meadows entrance is within 2 miles of AspenHaus Cabin. Walk into the RMNP from trailheads which are 1/4 mile away.
