Loved this property and how close it is to everything. We didn’t even need to use the car as everywhere we wanted to go/see was within walking distance. Will be booking here for future visits!

Nice spot just outside of all the craziness of Salem tourism, but not far from downtown. Very responsive host who clearly wanted me to enjoy my stay.

Historic and Sweet Home away from Home

The 2 bedroom apartment in this historic home, build in the early 1800s, has a beautiful historic character with the wooden floors and hints of modern culture. The street is very quiet traffic wise and the bedrooms even quieter. The layout is very nice as you enter the place through the living room, followed by the kitchen before getting to the bedrooms in the back of the home. The master bedroom is nice and spacious. Easy place to cook or just warm your meals. Everything is there with air conditioning so you can relax even when the temperatures were skyrocketing when I was there. The WiFi fully covers the house and connection is rock solid from front to the back of the house.Outside the home you will find many historic sites nearby to tour and visit. House of the Seven Gables (which was great to tour) only 5 minutes walking and into the other historic sites. Many things walkable as it is central to almost everything in Salem. The Commuter rail about 20 minutes walk and so is the Willow park if you want to spend time near the water or play some tennis. I mainly walked everything in the area but did notice some good public non-zoned parking 5 minutes walking from the house.You also have good connectivity with downtown Boston with the commuter rail which gets you at Boston North station in about 30 minutes. So both Salem and Boston are fully accessible.I really enjoyed this home away from home and the Check-in and -out process very smooth and easy.
