This updated turn-of-the-century farmhouse sits amid the magical Mud City Loop neighborhood, known for pastoral scenes and breathtaking mountain views, just over the Stowe/Morristown line. Surrounded by forest and fields, this home offers a peaceful oasis for the senses. When entering the home from the back parking, you step into a large tiled mudroom with recessed lighting and from there, into the open dining room. An antique wood cookstove maintains the old Farmhouse character, while modern kitchen and bathroom updates welcome you into the 21st Century. Find yet another woodstove in the living room, next. Fresh paint, flooring and fixtures continue through the first floor, while second floor bedrooms offer the cozy comfort of pine walls. Double rainfall shower heads and black fixtures are the highlights of the extensively tiled upstairs shower. The downstairs bathroom is a deep soaking tub with rain head shower.

We are just 20 mins from the ski area and town of Mt. Mansfield in Stowe, 35 minutes to the ski areas of Smugglers Notch and Bolton Valley. 1 Hour to Burlington International Airport. We are located near many fine restaurants and breweries (Lost Nation, The Alchemist, and Rock Art among many others). The area is full of year round recreational opportunities.

Singing Wood Farm and Forest was founded by our family in 2022. The farm itself has existed for over 125 years and we are the proud stewards of this land. Our family is committed to regenerative and sustainable practices in partnership with the land.

We follow organic and chemical free practices and are currently working towards certification. We strive not only to minimize farming impacts on the land but to create a healthier environment and increase local biodiversity. Through our planting choices and techniques, we work to support pollinators and all the flora and fauna of Singing Wood. We actively work to educate our guests and are continually learning new ways to honor and care for our land.

Singing Wood is located on 76 acres in Morristown Vermont, Lamoille County. Our farm offers gorgeous all season views of Vermont’s Green Mountains. We are located on Bull Moose Road and Mud City Loop. The farm is sits just outside the edges of Mount Mansfield State Forest with views of White Rocks, Bull Moose Hill, Sterling and Morse Mountains. A hidden tranquil gem in the Vermont countryside surrounded by forest and farmlands, bordered by the pristine trout brook Beaver Meadow Brook. Our family farm features forest trails, wildflower meadows, berry patches, herbs, cut flowers, honeybees, wood fired maple syrup and vegetables. Our farm store is filled with our own farm fresh products as well as a small selection from other quality food artisans and crafts people. The Catamount trail (a 300 mile long winter trail system) passes through our property and offers some of Vermont’s finest backcountry skiing, snowmobiling and snowshoeing.
