Amazing sunsets come free with this Lake Home directly on the Waterfront, located near Shipshewana Indiana, 2 minutes from Exit 107 from the Toll Road. White Pigeon is two miles north for groceries and a few small restaurants. Larger than a Cottage, 2 bedrooms, Master has a king sized bed, 2nd bedroom has two twin sized beds, 1 newly remodeled bath room, 2 sleeper sofas(One queen and one full), huge deck overlooking the all sports lake, plenty of sun, fishing, swimming. Charcoal Grill. All of the normal amenities. High Speed Internet included, 3 TV's, Washer and Dryer are optional. Year round lake house with heat. Plenty of space. Nice roads for walking around the lake.

Peaceful and Quiet

The cottage was as described. It was clean, bed was very comfortable, sunset was awesome. We were looking to unplug and enjoy the local area, which we did. We never met the host, he had left his number for any issues, and we had none, check in was easy, GPS took us right to the cottage. I would certainly stay again. Thank you John for sharing your lakefront cottage the entire stay was fantastic.

On the Lake

The fans made noise and towels were slim. There was a set hanging over the dryer with an odor so we didn’t use them. That left 1 set. We managed and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous Fishing!

This little house had a beautiful deck with a great yard. The dock fishing was unbelievable. Was disappointed with the restriction of only two people on the dock at a time. We had 4 kids and 4 adults in our group and all wanting to enjoy the fishing. Large Mouth Bass, Blue Gill and Rock Bass all plentiful. The house was not as clean as it should of been. Dead bugs on floors, spider webs on walls, dirty dishes in the cabinets and dishwasher. Leaky bathroom sink and kitchen sink. Could not access one of sleeper sofa's due to its position in the room. Internet and TV were awesome. 3 season porch is where we spent 90% of our time. Overall our stay was very enjoyable.

At the lake

It was exactly what a lake house should be. I brought my own sheets and towels but did not need to as they were there and available. Got a bit mixed up regarding dates and John was most kind about it. Might be nice to have directions as to using the dishwasher.

Relax and Enjoy the View!

The house and location were perfect for our stay! Nice neighbors and quiet location with a great view of the lake from the deck. And only 20 minutes from Shipsee Flea Market!!
