About Serena Bales Brion
Hi there! I have lived in Alaska since 1992, and have raised a family and made a career here. About 10 years ago I began to make trips to the Big Island, and fell in love with the rain forest side. I have been to Hilo / Pahoa many times and have met the most wonderful people and have made dear friends! I always felt like I was going to my other home in Hawaii, so I decided to buy a home in Pahoa when the opportunity came up. I love the warmth of the weather and the people, the laid back lifestyle, and the great food and music. I hope my guests experience the same thing when they visit!

Why Serena Bales Brion chose Hawaiian Beaches
I spent alot of time searching for a peaceful, quiet property, and my friend and real estate agent Ariel Murphy helped me find my Hawaii home. I love the layout, the large bedrooms, and open kitchen. The two car garage is bonus space and helps keep the house cool when the door is open. The house is surrounded by raw land on three sides, and has the feel of being much more removed. The home is on a city water supply and is in an area where I can receive high speed internet! These are great features for an owner who is not there all the time! Best of all, when I want to see the ocean, I can walk or drive a short two miles straight down Kahakai Blvd to the ocean's edge and watch the waves crash upon the rocks. It is a very meditative place.

Another reason I love the location of my home on Lalakea is that it is really central to so many sights and activities! Each guest is given a 5 page guideline written by me on things to see and do!
