Great location for hiking the White Mountains of NH
The property was close to the road yet very quiet, a pastoral property. Fully equipped, comfortable with easy access to many hikes, shopping, restaurants and small towns. Brenda was very attentive to any questions we had. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again if we return to the area.
We enjoyed 4 days at this quiet, peaceful cabin nestled in the woods. This cabin was pet-friendly and our Collie had no problem "settling in". He also enjoyed his walks in the surrounding wooded area.
It provided a warm & cozy atmosphere and we especially loved the décor. We would definitely come again!!
Cozy Bears Den Cabin in the Woods
Adorable little cabin, just what we were looking for. Super clean, comfortable and quiet location. Loved the bear theme and the interior throughout the cabin. Had everything we needed and more...Brenda was very attentive. We liked the drive into Conway it is very scenic....Had only 1 complaint regarding the lumpy and soft/sunken mattress and she said she was going to replace it immediately, I trust she would do that. We would absolutely stay again, sooner rather than later if I can.
Kim, Thank you for your kind words! New mattress will be delivered end of the month (September).
wonderful stay in the Maine woods
comfortable, well located near No. Conway for restaurants, river activities, shopping. Beautifully decorated. hope to return in the fall and winter. Thanks for allowing our pup to come too.
Great Location for things to do
Very enjoyable stay in a great location. We enjoyed all the close-by spots for water sports. Excellent places to eat, some within walking distance. The Bears Den is very well maintained and has lots of fun "Bear" decorations. The only thing we did not realize was that there is another unit above the Bears Den (so you are not by yourself - very nice couple staying above us, however).
David, thank you for the kind words! I will relook at my write up about Bear's Den. I typically let everyone know this is a duplex and it shows in photo (I think), but since your reservation was made through winning a raffle, I totally understand why you would not have known. The guests on the 2nd floor are lovely as well. Glad you got to meet them. Hope you will return again.
THE BEAR'S DEN
The cabin was in a great location, and very clean and comfortable. It is nestled in a wooded area making you feel you have lots of privacy. The owners were extremely accommodating
and were readily available for any of our questions. A must stay place !!!!

You can also visit a number of the town’s public spaces by taking a bike tour that begins west of Main Street at Weston’s Beach and continues over flat roads to nine parks.
