WALK down to the PASEO. This is the first time on the vacation-rental market for this large mid-century condo (over 900 square feet with private patio space, and sliding doors that open onto a HEATED pool. This apartment/home is part of a small complex with views the mountains. . It can accommodate 4. or more , if the sofas in the living room and bedroom are employed. A contemporary futon sofa in the living room is full sized.

Entirely furnished in the period with original pieces as well as original art, concrete floors, washer and dryer in unit. new 55” TV, Weber barbecue, central air and heat, Wifi, dishwasher, microwave. On-site parking.

Palm Desert is midway between downtown Palm Springs and La Quinta, central to everything in the desert . You can walk everywhere, foreign and art movies, dozens of great restaurants, coffee shops, the Apple Store, the Valley's best Mall, the largest outdoor market, and take a course at College of the Desert. Come early and enjoy Palm Springs International Film Festival and the Valley's favorite gourmet store, Jensen's, plus Whole Foods. YET you are located in an absolutely quiet, exclusively residential hillside with great desert views. One of the Coachella Valley’s most luxurious neighborhoods. Walk to Cap Homme and Ralph Adams Park for the best hiking in the desert. You're in the Washington Charter School District.
3 MONTH MINIMUM STAY. PRICE DETERMINED BY LENGTH OF STAY AND SEASON.

Rental is by the month. Preference is given to those who want an extended period of time. Yearly rental at a lower rent is also possible. A second unit in the complex(2br, 2ba 1100 square feet - and just renovated) is also available as well.
The asset which most insures your enjoyment of this rental is Emelie, the onsite manager who lives on the property. She can handle questions about the rental, the area, and any concerns or any situation which might arise during your stay.

Location only positive
Lots of issues with some resolved. Looks into neighbors - not over pool as pics showed. Had to buy a lot of things for long term stay (towels, kitchen etc). WiFi totally unreliable - seemed to be shared with others. Noisy - road, dogs, neighbors on phones at pool. Did I mention someone rang the doorbell late at night? Given wrong unit for their rental.

Wonderful Location
We loved the location the most. It was within walking distance to El Paseo shopping area and in a great location for anything we needed....Target, grocery stores, coffee shops, etc. It was a lovely neighborhood and we felt safe. The property owner and manager were prompt in their responses to our questions. We would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable and pleasant stay
The apartment was comfortable and convenient to everything I wanted/needed to do. If I needed to go someplace out of walking distance, like a super market, I was able to borrow a car from family who live in the area. Other than that, it was an easy walk to El Paseo, drug stores, the mall and several carry out restaurants. It’s in a very pleasant neighborhood. Most of the time I did not even know if there were residents or guests in the apts on either side. It was too cool to use the pool but it was clean and inviting. It was a very nice month in Palm Desert.

Perfect.
Owner Kennth is very attentive to everything you need. Emelie the live in manager always prompt with solving any problems. Rojo the maintenance man is very skilled and personable. With in 10 minutes walking to El Paseo where lots of shops are. Louise’s pantry great for breakfast short walk. Fresh Agave very good Mexican food and easy short walk. The Westfield mall 10 minutes with a Cinema. Golf everywhere and Pickle Ball in La Quinta, they have 8 courts and nice people. For our last month March, we moved to the larger unit. So spacious, outdoor area bbq, and pool is private and rightbout the front door. We already booked for next year❤️😁👍 I must say after coming to this area for years this condo is the best and very reasonable.

Great location and value
I loved this place! It's truly a great value and the location is hard to beat as it's central to the whole Coachella valley. The "real" neighborhood seems safe, and has varied ages of homes and people, was easy for biking and convenient to hiking. Other occupants in the building were friendly and helpful. The owner was always responsive and eager to make my experience a good one. There is also an on-site manager and a skilled maintenance person, both very helpful. The space is large and has plenty of storage. As it says in the description, the decor is mostly vintage but has new pieces, too, making for an eclectic look. A few of the pieces were a little tired, mostly in the small, private outdoor area. The kitchen was adequate and set up for simple meals. Overall, a great experience.

I'm a writer and the owner of apartments in LA . I have had vacation rental property in Los Angeles and in Lake Arrowhead on VRBO and Homeaway for over 10 years, even though this is my first property in the desert. I own a 1920's cabin in Lake Arrowhead (#281004). I fell in love with this building in Palm Desert and wanted to create my Palm- Springs desert fantasy. Lots of the things in the apartment,, particularly the art are original. I also wanted to keep the place simple and light and open to the mountains and the outside. Probably the best part of this property is the area it is in. It's quiet, rich and safe. You don't need a car to survive because you can walk down to the best shops and restaurants. The other people in the building are professionals who appreciate the location and the quiet. So there is a great amount of privacy and peace, while still being convenient to the things people want to do when vacationing in the desert.

What makes this property unique

If you rent this place, you will find beds that have never been slept in, utensils that have never been used. A tv that's never been turned on. A shower that's never been showered in,. etc. You will probably also find that there's no colander or some object that will get there in time. In this case, I just email me and chances are it can be remedied rather quickly. Also, there is a great guy who takes care of the building so that when something breaks,, he's there to fix it. His wife cleans so that's an option too, if you want to have housekeeping service.
