Ciao! I’m German and I have been living in the beautiful Salento for several years, after completing my studies in Florence and working as a teacher in Germany. I would love to share the charm and authenticity of this region with my guests. I enjoy Mediterranen cuisine - especially fresh fish - and truly value the warm hospitality of my neighbours here in Cerfignano, real Salentini at heart. It’s the warmth that I love to share with my guests.
Why they chose this property
I chose this area for it’s fantastic sea: crystal-clear, rocky with small sandy bays, shimmering in shades of blue and turquoise. On clear days you can even see that the Albanian mountains. I especially love autumn and spring for long walks and a refreshing dip in the water. With hardly any tourism then, the peace and quiet are simply wonderful.
What makes this property unique
This accommodation reflects local tradition with it’s typical Salentino architecture: a cross voult made of the characteristic Leccese stone. Inside I furnished it with modern design pieces. I love the contrast of old and new. The apartment is kept very clean, And I believe guests can feel truly comfortable here. It’s perfectly located for wonderful walks along the coast. The house is not in a tourist spot, but in a very small authentic village that represents the true spirit of this region. No luxury, but full of character. I love it and I’m sure you will too.
