Great Time in Kauai

The property is located right on the shore, perfect for enjoying spectacular Hawaiian sunrises/sunsets and everything in between. The beach on the property isn't really swimmable, but there are plenty of excellent alternatives nearby, so this hasn't been an issue for us. We had a first floor unit, so could walk into the tropical garden right from our living room and bedroom - this was extremely convenient for us. The unit was clean and the property has free parking onsite. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance. We were traveling with small kids and Carol (the owner) has been very accommodating to our needs. Thank you so much, we had a great time!

Great location

Location: Nice mid-point to visiting both the north and south shores. We enjoyed the proximity of cafes and groceries. Only drawback was traffic going south between 11-2pm, as there was ongoing construction. Property: well maintained and clean Rooms: very clean and comfortable. The washer/dryer was much appreciated.

Lovely family vacation

We had a very relaxing and refreshing family vacation. The resort was nice and quiet, we enjoyed the pool daily as well as the beach. Kapaa is located near many restaurants and everything is close by, including multiple grocery stores. With kids it is super convenient to have a full kitchen. We really enjoyed being on the first floor, the chickens would come by every morning and evening to say hello, so charming. We could see the ocean from our little lanai. The owners we rented from were friendly and reached out with information to make sure we had all our expectations met. They were exceeded. The workers (front desk/housekeeping, etc) were all kind and helpful. We would love to come and stay here again. By the way, there was never any pressure to attend the time share presentation.

I am so appreciative to the wonderful staff of people at the Kauai Coast Resort who work tirelessly to ensure a wonderful experience for their guests. As for us... We love Kauai! We enjoy 'Resort Days' at the Kauai Coast Resort at the Beachboy when we can watch the spectacular sunrises, make breakfast, lunch or dinner in our condo's full kitchen, walk the beach or pathway, swim in the heated pool, relax on the poolside sundeck or stretch out and read facing the ocean under palm trees, have lunch at the pool bar, go to the Coconut Market Place for great shops, food, treats and souvenirs, watch the ocean from the spa, or enjoy dinner at the Hukilau Lanai. The location of Kauai Coast Resort is centrally located on the island and is on the outskirts of Kapaa! The wide variety of activities we enjoy are so accessible because whether we are going North or South... we are in the middle of the island and it's easy to get where we're going. Kauai is a great place for 'Beach Days' with so many beaches and places to enjoy beach activities. Bike Riding on the amazing 4-mile trail (and wide) along the ocean! Bicycles can be rented in Kapaa where the trail begins. We love golfing in Kauai... so many courses... so beautiful. Sightseeing adventures in Kauai are amazing! Waimea Canyon...Waterfalls...Hanalei Bay! so many more. We always look forward to trying something new each time we visit.

Dining at Kauai Coast Resort: The Hukilau Lanai is our favorite restaurant! Unbelievable fresh flavors and perfectly prepared dining. There is a full bar and on certain evenings, anyone can enjoy the live music. Reservations are recommended… this restaurant is an island favorite too! Also enjoyable is the Poolside Bar with drinks, fresh salads, delicious sandwiches and daily specials (excellently prepared in the same kitchen as the restaurant). Location, location, location! Sightseeing? Beach day? Golf? Shopping? Need groceries? Coconut Market Place is just across the street from the resort. At the Coconut Market Place, visitors will find shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Drive north to numerous beaches and be sure to stop at beautiful Hanalei Bay to swim, play in the sand, shop, eat, kayak and more! Drive south to Waimea Canyon, the Spouting Horn and Poipu Beach! ... the list goes on... Kapaa is a walk, bike ride or very short drive to find all the conveniences of a small city where visitors will find grocery stores, drug stores, sports rental shops, clothing stores and many restaurants. Last but not least... the beautiful grounds and resort would not be complete without the wonderful heated pools and Jacuzzi spa... the waterfalls banking the large pool and the convenience of having drinks and food from the poolside bar.
