About Peter Hand
Peter and his wife Rebecca live in Toowoomba. They have seven children, two of whom are students living with them. They have two grandsons living in Melbourne and a granddaughter in Sydney. Peter grew up in Tasmania and has lived in Canberra, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane, pursuing his career, before settling in Toowoomba with Rebecca 18 years ago. He has travelled widely and lived in London for a time. Rebecca was born in England and came to Australia in 1966 with her parents who settled in Adelaide. She subsequently moved to Brisbane where she met and married Peter. Peter is now retired, but is very active managing the family home and their rental properties, as well as being involved in community activities

Peter and Rebecca bought this property and two adjoining units because of the fantastic views and extremely convenient location. They had in mind the possibility that they might move to Brisbane later on and the units are well placed to access education, services, recreation and entertainment, travel and work. In the meantime, they have been able to rent the properties out.
What makes this Apartment unique
The views and location of the property caught their imagination. They have continued to enjoy relaxing in the units whenever they stay in them. Night time views can be particularly outstanding, especially during events involving fireworks displays

Great bed and view
Location was great with a quick 10 min walk to Southbank and a 5min walk from the Roma St railway station. The view at night from the window was sensational and the bed was one of the most comfortable that I have ever slept in. Value for money was great and I would highly recommend to any one to stay here.
It was perfect for me staying alone for a few nights, I walking into the city a few times no worries
I loved coming home to the view every night was my main thing! Everything was nice and tidy and the hotel easy to get around.
There wasn’t any parking on site & the bathroom felt a little run down but that’s nit picking for sure!
All in all, really enjoyed my stay.

Have stayed here on 3 occasions - cannot get better value for money. View is awesome. Location great-short walk from Roma St Railway Stn. Has everything you need. Easy self check-in instructions provided by owner, Peter, who has always been friendly and quick to respond. I have also had to cancel a reservation which was also dealt with hassle-free and promptly. Highly recommended.
Great little apartment with a stunning view
I have no complaints. I enjoyed my stay in Brisbane very much and this apartment was definitely part of the reason.
Very centrally based. 5mins to train station & 10mins to CBD by foot.
Was clean and very well stocked.
Has a lovely little pool to use, perfect in the heat. Laundry on site to use as well.

The location of the unit is ideal for accessing the many highlights of Brisbane City life which are within easy walking distance or a short drive away. These include:
Queen Street Mall in the heart of the CBD and excellent city centre shopping and restaurants;
Southbank and its waterpark and excellent nearby restaurants;
the Wheel of Brisbane;
The Performing Arts Centre;

Regular ferry services up and down river offer a pleasant and relaxing way to see and visit the many attractions and points of interest along the Brisbane River.
The unit is less than five minutes away from the Brisbane Transit Centre. There is a regular train service throughout the day between the Transit Centre and Brisbane Airport.. There are also train and bus services to destinations throughout Queensland. Of particular note is the train service to the Gold Coast with its renowned beaches, theme parks and many other attractions. There are also train and bus services to North Queensland, Central Queensland and the Sunshine Coast as well as inland to Western and Far Western Queensland
