moonhouse invites you for a cozy stay in Skiathos Town

moonhouse is a cozy town house, located in the vivid harbor of Skiathos Island. The name was given after a unique round window in the ceiling, while white color turquoise shades dominate all over the house.

moonhouse firstly invites into a courtyard where sitting and dining areas on different levels combine. The courtyard continues into a covered terrace on the upper level, offering beautiful sea and old town views, ideal for a morning coffee or for a glass of wine in the evening.

Indoors, the house has a kitchen with a breakfast table for 4 guests, where a natural light comes from the ceiling. A bathroom with a shower is situated next to the kitchen. Bamboo was used in both spaces, which gives the natural touch.

On the same level, a beautiful bedroom with two double mattresses accommodates two guests. The walls are painted white in a traditional way and the old details, such as massive stones in the wall, the ladder-style stairs and a trap door were left original. The bedroom also has a TV, a cozy corner for reading and an A/C.

The stairs lead to the upper level, a spacious bedroom that can be used as a living room, too. The authentic window shutters protect from sun during the daytime and gives privacy in the evening. This particular room has an A/C. A door leading from this room to the terrace outdoors serves as a private entrance as well. The room can be separated from the rest of the house by the trap door.
