Silver Rock is a fully equipped vacation rental that offers a true “Up North”Michigan feel. It offers 650 sq ft of living space, 648 ft of private lake frontage with a 14 ft boat, a canoe, a paddleboat, a swim/fish platform and dock included for your use. A private firepit (wood provided at no cost) is also included. Directv is always a touch away for those rainy days. You can Fish, Hunt, Hike, Bike, ORV, Canoe, Kayak, Golf, Casino, Birdwatch or just relax. Push off our shore in your Kayak and in 2 hours you arrive Lake Huron. We have an excellent “dark sky” for star gazing.
There are thousands of acres of state owned land nearby that are also available for your use. “A sportsmen’s paradise”!
Silver Rock is available the last week in May through the second week in October.
Fishing season opens the last Saturday in April.
Ocqueoc Lake is a no wake lake!
No pets please!
Property slopes to the lake which makes it non handicap friendly.

Owners were pleasant and helpful. We had some scheduling conflicts at home that Steven was able to accommodate. Very communicative, answered in a timely manner. Look forward to booking again and hopefully staying longer.

Beautiful property

Stayed here with my husband and 14 year old daughter. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Loved sitting on the back deck and watching the lake. My husband caught a pike his first night and we loved watching the birds at the feeder. Our hosts Steve and Vicki were so kind and were quick to answer any questions we had.Would definitely recommend staying here. We left feeling so relaxed and were sad to go.

Ocqueoc Lake

Property was secluded just as advertised with lots of wildlife as a bonus.Steve was a very welcoming host while still giving us space. He also went out of his way to show us little extras and even let me borrow his battery charger as my I had forgotten mine for my trolling motor. Overall, my family and I had a great time on this property.

Why they chose this property

Unlike many lake properties where the cabins are close to one another, Silver Rock will give you the feel of the only cottage on the entire lake. Another cottage cannot be seen from our shore.

What makes this property unique

One visit to Silver Rock will give you that true 'up north' feeling. Lake Huron is approx. 3 miles away and there are smaller Trout streams in any direction. The American Indians referred to this area as 'Sacred Land'. It is the ideal location for outdoor lovers and sportsman. Although the owner lives next door, privacy is respected.
