This modern cottage is a detached building in the small coastal village of Southerness. Well equipped and furnished to a very high standard throughout, the property offers brand new comfortable rooms. These include two double and a bunk bedroom, a fitted kitchen, dining, lounge (with fold out double sofa bed) and a wet room.. With off-road parking, spacious garden and patio and bbq area this is an excellent place for a seaside break with extended family or with friends.

Fantastic accommodation

This house is truly brilliant, lots of space inside and out, very clean, lots of supplies and well though out ‘extras’ eg, fire lighters for bbq and log burner, sewing kit, games etc. I had contacted the owners for some other information and their response was immediate and supportive, all very reassuring. The house is in a quiet area of the park, easy access to the beach, neighbours very friendly, and extremely good value for money. I can’t recommend this property enough, and hope to return one day soon. Many thanks.

Avoid Avoid Avoid

Please avoid this holiday home at all costs!!! Especially If you have any children. We arrived at the property with two small children. Seemed ok at first went to play in the garden absolute mess broken glass cigarette ends (which we cleaned up before a child got to them) There is a garden full of weeds with a open shed full of just rubbish with two old rusty axe’s left (not safe for young children) We entered the property seemed basic enough (was a last minute booking wasn’t expecting much tbh) fine went to the bathroom found some old grey smelly towels still left from previous guests) The property is basic and clean enough (rough clean not covid clean) I wouldn’t cook in the kitchen put it that way but the damp smell especially in the small bedrooms was enough for us to leave first thing the next morning! We left at 8am the following morning leaving the place perfect (even remade the beds) I took pictures for evidence! We didn’t use the kitchen as it wasn’t overly nice to use or the bathroom as it was not nice. The bedding was clean but the bath towels were older and greyer than me! Definitely not fit for Covid-19 rules! We have given the owners over three weeks to give us their feedback and I was greeted with such hostility I am shocked! And disgusted by their response taking nearly £900 off us for that property then total rude response when we told them why we left! Hope the owners take that £900 they took from us and refused any compensation and buy some new towels and do your garden up for your next guests! Disgusted by their response to a young family who had to leave their summer holiday! Please avoid this place! And use your money on another nicer property!

Look no further

Lovely cottage. We will definitely return. I will try and detail as much as I can. Check in process- very smooth. Received am email, followed up by a telephone call, giving instructions on where to find cottage, how to retrieve keys, where heating etc switches were and a little info on this dreadful covid 19. All very smooth. Cottage itself- lovely cottage and if I am honest, I dont think the pictures on the site quite do it justice. Not that there is particularly anything wrong in the pictures, but perhaps new ones would benefit those looking at booking. Everything is clean, the fire was pre ready just to simply light it when we arrived. The beds were not the comfiest I have ever slept on but by far not the worst either so can't complain. The cottage is well maintained and clean. The kitchen was spotless and the cooker and oven very good and easy to use. The living room was well furnished and had lots of books and a dominoes set. I think unfortunately there are 3 missing, which actually didn't stop us playing lol. The playing cars are also missing but obviously this must be previous guests who have misplaced these things. All in all it is a lovely place to stay and we will definitely return.

Short getaway

Lovely holiday cottage in nice secluded area. Perfect to get away from all the madness in the world right now! Very clean and well kept, very comfortable too. The in-laws came down for a couple of nights and.we had a barbeque in great surroundings. I'd highly recommend this holiday home and it is excellent value for money. Thanks to Michael and Sharon for a great place to stay!
