Beautifully decorated, this cute little 50’s shack has been given a new lease on life. The Murray River and Goolwa wharf precinct is just a few metres away. Head to Hectors on the Wharf for a bite to eat, the Steam Exchange Brewery for a craft beer, or 90 Mile Wines Wharf Barrel Shed for a glass of wine. The AquaCaf and Goolwa Yacht Club are just a few minutes walk in the other direction.
With updated kitchen and bathroom, and most of the finishing by Early Settler, this shack is perfect for a romantic weekend or mid-week city escape.
There are two bedrooms: the main bedroom with a Queen bed and a smaller sleep out with a bunk bed (2 x single beds). There is reverse cycle air conditioning, and ceiling fans in the main bedroom, the lounge and the kitchen. There are TVs in both the lounge room and the main bedroom. There is a DVD player in the lounge room.
At the rear of the house is a delightful surprise! This house is made for relaxing and enjoying some very quirky exterior structures. An old shed has been converted into a rustic cabana - complete with hammock, table and chairs and bud lighting. Close by is a large sandstone table with seating for 8 people. After your swim in the river, wash off in the outdoor shower that is cleverly set in-between a corrugated iron fence and two corrugated iron sheds. A gas BBQ is located under the verandah at the back of the house.
All bed linen is provided. Please BYO towels.
Pets are very welcome both inside and out. The backyard is fully fenced and some artificial grass has been strategically placed.
