Great Location but House Needs Updating/Cleaned
We stayed as a family for a couple of nights. We are not strangers to Carlton Landing, and we try to stay at a different location each time we come. We spend more time outside than inside when we come to this community but we also want to be comfortable.
Upsides - Beds were very comfortable, and the outside covered two-vehicle parking was great. "Three Arrows" is located on a park, which was great for the kiddos to easily run outside. The location is also generally in the center of Carlton Landing meaning less walking to get places. The putting green was also a fun addition to the house.
Downsides - Put simply, it is clear this was a rental house. The house is in need of upgrading, and in some places, repairs. The upstairs bath is chipping and the front door has a large area of wood under it that appears torn out from the wood floor. The icemaker in the fridge was in pieces and (obviously) not working. The house had clearly not been cleaned before we arrived because there was trash under the beds, like an empty tea bottle and wrappers, and the upstairs carpet hadn't been vacuumed (which was odd, since there was a vacuum oddly placed in the corner of the downstairs master bedroom).
While we will definitely be returning to Carlton Landing, we probably won't stay in this home again unless we see some changes have been made.
