About this property

We are a rural property, set on 5 acres, with views overlooking beautiful Scott's Head and Nambucca Heads. We are only 2 minutes drive from our closest beach and less than 5 minutes from Scott's Head village. Scott's Head is situated exactly half way between Sydney and Brisbane so offers the ideal place to break your trip. Our studio, SARANA, is attached to the main house, but is completely private, with it's own entry. You can see as little or as much of us as you like. The studio boasts luxury fittings such as a huge free standing bath, large bathroom with double vanity, quality queen size bed fitted with top class linens, fully equipped kitchenette, private deck with outdoor cooking facilities, Weber BBQ, outdoor dining area, sun lounge and the list goes on.
We pride ourselves on providing the best hospitality in the area after running a large successful Guest House in the Hunter Valley for many years.

Perfect getaway

We stayed at this property over night as a stop over for our road trip. It was an amazing stay on a beautiful property and lovely house. Jenny was a fantastic host and has done a great job. It is close to the beaches and town making it very convenient. 10/10 property 👌

My husband Brad and myself are orginally from Newcastle and made the sea change to beautiful Scott's Head back in 2004 and have never looked back. When we built our dream home, we purpose built it so we could offer accommodation once our daughters left home for University. We have done hospitality on a large scale being owners and operators of the historical, Barrington Guest House in the Hunter Valley for over 20 years. Now we can offer beautiful accommodation in a truly special part of the world. We feel very blessed to call this our home and be able to share it with others.

Why they chose this property

We couldn't believe our eyes when we first saw this piece of land. The sweeping ocean views on one side and Dorrigo Mountains and plateau to the west. It really is an incredibly special place with the best beaches, you can go to our closest beach and be the only one on it.

What makes this property unique

Being exactly half way between Sydney and Brisbane, it's the perfect place to break your trip and stop, unwind and recharge before continuing on your journey. We have an abundance of wildlife here. You can watch the whales making their way up and down the coast from here, there's also a telescope so you can see them up closer. We have wallabies that are here most evenings on dusk and mornings at dawn, and a huge variety of birdlife. Go to sleep to the sounds of waves crashing and awake to birdsong and the most amazing sunrises.
