Villa Turquesa is located in The Mexico Rocks area of Ambergris Caye. A pier directly in front of the property is used for fishing and swimming.

Picturesque beach setting is perfects for family gatherings, celebrations and weddings. Please ask for more wedding information with our suggested wedding planner.

THE VILLA HAS:

TWO WATERFRONT SUITES - Both with king bed, sitting area and screened private porch

TWO GARDEN SUITES - One is a suite with a king bed and double trundle bed and a private front porch. The second garden suite is a queen bed off in it's own private area.

A THREE BEDROOM HOUSE is also available as a separate rental. It is located on the property. The house has three bedrooms each has a queen bed and one of the three bedrooms has a bunk bed, queen with a double double size upper bed.This 3 bedroom house has a kitchen and living room and sleeps 7. The house has two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms being private to the master bedroom.

THE MAIN HOUSE has a large screened veranda overlooking the pool and the reef. The living room and kitchen comprise the main interior. The kitchen is equipped with microwave, convection stove, double door refrigerator , dishwasher, and a second refrigerator for beverages.

Our private cook, Seria is available for an additional cost to offer you evening dinning. We suggest appetizers by the pool, main course in the dining area and finishing the meal with a dreamy dessert. Seria will do all the food shopping. Kitchen will be left clean and tidy. The cost is $10 per person not including food or gratuity. The cuisine is island style with fresh seafood, Belizian favorites , vegetables and fruit. Her talent as a chef has provided our guests with 8 years of enjoyable dining.

Breakfast can be arranged through Fanny, our housekeeper. Requests for breakfast such as, island fresh fruit, huevos rancheros and fry jacks are among the guest's favorites.

Great relaxing place, cook Siria and her family were great, definitely worth utilizing, Hardware needs updating so more doors and windows can be opened.

Paradise is Calling

Our stay at Villa Turquesa was an absolute dream. The facilities and grounds exceeded every expectation. What made this stay so unique among other VRBOs? Without question the highlight of our trip was the culinary mastery of Siria, the private chef. Her simple food from refried beans and steamed vegetables were nearly religious experiences. To say nothing of her coconut shrimp or curry chicken. To add clarity to the chef process, in addition to the $5/$10 per person cost, you will also pay for groceries. Select your menu, provide cash for the groceries, and Siria will do the shopping. The per person fee does not to go Siria; instead to the property manager. So anticipate per person fees, grocery costs, and then a tip to Siria at the end of the week. I assure you—it is worth every penny. Beyond the amazing service, one of the standout features of Villa Turquesa is its elevated pool and deck, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. From the stunning sunrises each morning, to the pre-dinner appetizers and cocktails after afternoons lounging in the sun, the pool deck and screen room of the main house were our central hub—and the focal point of memories we will enjoy for a lifetime. Our time at Villa Turquesa was nothing short of spectacular. Natural beauty, unparalleled service from the staff, and accommodations that offered both privacy and gathering. It was a perfect trip, and we would love return. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

Ideal large family location

Great property, very private location, main house provides a great meeting place, meals and family fun with private casitas. The pool, view, and deck are all amazing. The staff was incredible, Fanny is wonderful and Siria is a great addition for custom meals at the house. The house is located about 20 min north of the main city area which is a convenient location to run into the city but there a many fruit stands, groceries and restaurants along the way. We would definitely stay here again.

Best Family Vacation Ever!!

Terrific vacation at Villa Turquesa. Our group of 17 ranged in age from 2-92. We went to Belize to celebrate our dad's 92nd birthday. The accommodations were perfect for our group, everyone had their own space and a communal space for eating and relaxing. My strong recommendation is to hire Siria, the cook. We ate her fabulous cooking for breakfast and dinner for our entire 6-night stay. Hands down Siria made the trip for us. It was so easy and convenient to choose the meals from a full menu and easy to communicate with her. Highly recommend the pork ribs with mole sauce with coconut rice and vegetables, but seriously everything was absolutely delicious. Her daughter, a baker, made a decadent chocolate birthday cake for our dad even providing a sparkler for the candle! So sweet. Siria would let us know dinner was ready, we'd get out of the pool, dry off, and sit down to a family dinner and she and her helper (her granddaughter) would clean up after. Such luxury!! I also recommend hiring Island Divers (Rudy) to set up snorkeling, ruin, and cave tubing tours (Onofre aka Junior was our great guide for the ruins and cave tubing). They were prompt, knowledgeable, and a lot fun! They picked us up at the dock right out in front of the house and dropped us off after. Can't say enough about our trip to Belize!

It was lovely!

The house was bigger then we thought. We loved having a main house no one slept in and could be a gathering place for anyone that was awake. Fanny and her husband live on property and were there to help with any questions or to save you if you had golf cart problems. They were very sweet and easy to work with.

Our first trip to Belize was in 1984. At that time we found ourselves very intrigued by this small country. We grew to love the beauty of Belize and the kindness and sincerity of the people. Ambergris Caye became our home and location to raise our three children. The ties our family developed to the island of San Pedro with it's natural beauty and culture have enriched all our lives.

Why they chose this property

Few properties on Ambergris Caye can match the view of Mexico rocks and the reef. The neighborhood is serene and filled with the morning songs of the topical birds, the daily flights of pelicans, frigates, herons and the early morning visits from the dolphins. Evening brings the chirping of geckos and the swooping of fruit bats. People gather on the end of piers to fish for snapper and jacks. The ecosystem still survives.

What makes this property unique

The Villa layout provides guests with privacy in their own suites. With accommodations in five separate locations guests can find peace and quite whenever they choose. Gathering areas are the main house with the living room, dining area, kitchen and large screen porch overlooking the pool and beach.
