Wonderful week!

This was our second visit to La Garance, last year we stayed for 3 nights and this year we just returned from a week where we rented the whole house with our friends. It was truly a magical week and here is why: the hospitality of Regis and Chantal which included help in shopping at the nearby marché for the best chèvre I have ever tasted, the arrangements made by Chantal for an excellent chef to prepare a few of our meals, guidance on which 'neighborhood' restaurant we would all go to for dinner (12 of us), and then once we were on our own at the house with our lovely rooms and beautiful swimming pool we had use of everything we needed in the house. Add to that the evening visits to the lavender fields, daily visits to nearby villages, kayaking on the Sorgue River, bicycling on the greenway, evenings beginning with rosé and continuing with a meal under the plane trees, all of our friends concur that it was a pretty perfect week. Merci á vous, Regis et Chantal et á bientôt!!

4 couples Provence

We have rented 5 houses inFrance and England. This was definitely in top 2. The house was charming , well equipped and very livable. Old stone and beautiful old wooden beams combined with updated and very nice bathrooms for all 5 bedrooms. Excellent kitchen with professional stove, beautiful wooden coolers as well as modern fridge, coffee maker etc. we love going to various beautiful surrounding towns to markets, lunch etc and coming back to great house with beautiful grounds , pool , outdoor living room to enjoy the wines we had bought and enjoy cooking wonderful items from markets. Regis and Chantal were very helpful with suggestions and restaurant recommendations. At our request Chantal had a wonderful dinner prepared for our arrival night. In addition to markets wine tasting in Gigondas and Chateaneuf de pape, we enjoyed historical sites in Orange, Nimes and Avignon. A wonderful trip made even better by a beautiful rustic home!

and decided to come in Provence where they are visited goods friends in Provence during a long time to discover this protected French landscape and typical old perched villages around this area,

We decided to stay in 'La Belle Provence' and found La Garance to restore during 2 years with old materials stone, lime, and give the best comfort double glazed, heating ground geothermic, we have choice the family furniture and around us like in L'isle sur Sorgue the 3rd antiquities market in Europe at 7 km!

What makes this property unique

You will loved the light at La Garance en Provence during all the day, with in front of you the scent of lavenders, sound of cicadas, 2 majestic planes of 300 years in the court, giving shadows to the authentic Provencal Mas,
A large overflowing swimming pool designed like a old basin,
The open barn now is the best room for summer breakfasts and dinners, with a special view in direction of 11th century Chateau de Thouzon,
