About this property

Situated in the centre of the walled medieval village of San Llorenç de la Muga this is a large stone-built rural townhouse spread over 3 floors with many terraces and a shaded garden with a swimming pool. The river where you can also bathe is a very short walk away. This is a small countryside village with only 230 inhabitants however there are restaurants and a few shops in the village. The village is full of character and is the ideal place for the ultimate relaxing holiday. If you feel the need for company or a shopping experience Figueres is a short 20-minute drive away. This is the ideal location for walking and cycling excursions and there are certain activities planned in the village throughout the year.
The house itself has 313m2 and has 8 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 dining rooms, lounge, various halls and a large kitchen. There are terraces for relaxing and dining on 2 of the floors with a BBQ on the lower floor. There is a large games room on the upper floor.

Pros: Stayed here for 2 weeks with the family this summer and had the most wonderful time. The town is a fantastic community and we had everything we needed literally on our doorstep. Beach and other activities about 40 minutes drive away so a car is essential if you want to go outside the village. The property itself was amazing and spacious - the photos do not do it justice. The only downside was that there were only 3 bathrooms and with full capacity of 14 it made things a little awkward but we made it work! The property owner was extremely helpful and was on hand for any of our needs should we have needed anything. I would definitely recommend this property and would love to go back.

Grote woning donkere kamers, rare indeling , te weinig kookmateriaal wanneer men zelf kookt met grote groep , ligt afgelegen van winkels maar lekker rustig en een zwembad , in een karaktervol rustiek dorpje aan riviertje , wel steeds dezelfde weg heen en terug nemen .
