We first came to Maui 40 years ago for their honeymoon and have been coming back every year since. They bought their lovely Condominium 1309 in 1995 and have decorated it as their second home with every feature imaginable. The condo now serves as home base for family vacations with their three children and six grandchildren. Their condo is truly unique in that it is one of only two prime ocean front one bedroom condos at the Village with their front yard the #1 BEACH in the WORLD according to Conde Nast Traveller. This condo is one of the most coveted and sought after condos in Hawaii. At their owner's direct rate it is the lowest priced prime ocean front one bedroom unit at the Village. Paradise is waiting!

We first came to Maui in 1969 and have been back every year since. In the late 1980's we discovered Elua Village and always wanted to buy one of the only two prime ocean front ground floor one bedroom units at the Village. At last in 1995 one came on the market and we grabbed it. It truly is the BEST OF THE BEST since you do not have to climb a steep hill like most of the other condominiums or hike around to the back and climb stairs to get to a second floor unit. Just step out our front door and you are in Paradise!

Beautiful views, great location
This was our sixth visit to Elua, and our favorite condo. We love to walk the paths and enjoy the views from the patio. The beach s close for swimming and snorkeling. The condo was clean and well stocked. We hope to return!

Property was like new and view is wonderful.
One hundred yards to the beach...view couldn’t be better. Owners recently completed a first class upgrade of entire unit.

Pricy for what you get
The property location is great (grounds & beach access) but the furnishings & decor are extremely dated.
The sofabed is really unusable so I would highly discourage you if you are planning to use it.
Hopefully the remodel has addressed these issues.
Thank you so much for your feedback. I am so sorry for your experience as you were one of the last renters before our major remodel! Our condo is truly one of the best locations in all of Elua and therefore it rents most days out of the year. It was hard to find a time to close it down and begin the remodel. But we finally did and wow are the results incredible! We are just finishing up a 4 month complete remodel and brought the unit down to the studs - new kitchen, bathroom, bedroom...you name it and it was done! In addition, we have been shopping away to find a new bed, all new bedding, decor, curtains, etc. It is going to be stunning. Won't be able to beat our unit come end of August when it is ready to rent!!!! Moving forward we will no longer offer a sofa bed as the unit will be meant only for 2 people so that shouldn't be an issue. Once again I am sorry you got the tail end of a very loved condo. I do hope you will come back again to see the updated and fresh unit! Now the unit will match its' ideal location!
