The living rooms are furnished with 19th-century furniture and accessories, the floors are made of terracotta tiles, the ceilings have beams and the beds are made of wrought iron. Additional amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi with a dedicated home office workspace (upstairs), heating (available for an additional fee), washing machines and a TV. A cot, high chair and two bicycles (on request) are also available. A private balcony is also available on the lower floor.
The property is situated in the centre of the village of Monticiano, a centre of Medieval origin which can also be found in some details of the apartments themselves. The building is located 35km from Siena and about an hour from tourist centres such as Montalcino, Pienza, San Gimignano, Massa Marittima, Volterra and, if desired, from the sea (Follonica). In the municipality of Monticiano, you can find the Petriolo thermal baths. Also to be appreciated in this town is the Museum of Biodiversity, which uses innovative technologies to enhance the uncontaminated and particularly beautiful nature of the area. Not to be forgotten are the abbey of San Galgano and the church of Montesiepi, which are world tourist destinations and situated 5km from Monticiano.
Free parking is available on the street. Families with children are welcome. Pets are allowed for a fee. Air conditioning is currently not available as not necessary. Wi-Fi is available and suitable for video calls.
