Your resort Ston is a small town on Peljesac, at the very beginning of the peninsula. Since the town used to be a military fortress, you can still find the majestic defensive walls that are an impressive feature of the town's medieval architecture. It is also known for its salt and oyster production. Why not join an organized wine tour and then enjoy an oyster lunch. Bicycling is also a great way to explore the area. However, you will probably spend most of your time on one of the many beaches from where you can jump into the crystal clear sea.
