Location description: The quiet town of Chipiona is located in the northeast of the Cádiz coast, on the Costa de la Luz, just 52 km from Cádiz, capital of the province of the same name. Cádiz is the oldest city in the West (3000 years old).
The origins of Chipiona date back to Roman times. The most important building in Chipiona is the lighthouse, built in 1867 at Punta del Perro, the same place where Quintus Servilius Cepion had his tower built in 140 BC.
