Cosy house on the northern slope of the quiet Agaete valley, only 5 km from the beach and the natural pools. Casa Mimosa is an ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours in the northwest of the island and the best place to relax by the pool or in the garden after an island tour. Ideal for families and people who want to spend some time in nature in one of the most privileged climates in the world, with maximum temperatures averaging 27°C in summer and minimum temperatures of 15° in winter. If you want to work from here, the high-speed fibre optic internet connection makes it possible. Our tip: Enjoy a morning dip in the sea or a walk in the valley before starting your workday.
After a day of hiking in the breathtaking mountains, relax on the terrace with a book. Have breakfast in the garden among the mango trees. Or sunbathe on the sun terrace overlooking the mountains after a dip in the pool.
The village of Agaete is 3 km away, 1.5 km further in Puerto de las Nieves is the beach and natural pools. Even closer you will find the village of San Pedro, where you can find shopping facilities as well as restaurants. In the fincas of the valley you can buy home-grown coffee and fruits.
If you are fit enough, you can hike up the valley to El Hornillo and enjoy the best view of the valley and the ocean from the top. On clear days, you can see Tenerife and the imposing Teide, the highest mountain in Spain, across the ocean.
Other hiking trails take you to Tamadaba, El Risco and Guayadeque.

Beautiful and peaceful

Casa Mimosa was a charming comfortable house. In October/November the unheated pool is a bit cold but we did use it anyway and had great fun. The kitchen lacks an oven although the Microwave was a combi unit. The setting is peaceful and beautiful only broken by barking dogs from neighbouring properties. It's a ten minute drive to supermarket and restaurants so you must have a car. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.
