The vacation cottage, on a small, separate plot, is located in the village of the idyllic fishing village of Groß Zicker. It was newly built in 1992, but together with the adjacent old fisherman's house it forms a listed complex. During construction, a number of monument protection requirements had to be met. So the cottage was given small windows and a 'Klöndör', just as they were in this area in great-grandmother's time.

There are good catering facilities in the village, and there is also a small store where you can pick up fresh bread rolls and other groceries. The distance to the Baltic Sea beach is approx. 2 kilometers, to the Bodden it is max. 1 kilometer.

The Mönchgut peninsula is one of the most scenic spots on the island of Rügen. Here you can spend your vacation in a variety of ways, whether on the beautiful sandy beach, on bike tours, hikes or visiting the Mönchgut museums and other tourist attractions.
