About this property

Your perfect beach getaway! This second floor, Oceanfront condo offers spectacular views of the ocean on the quiet North End of Pleasure Island. It is an immaculate, recently renovated, deluxe one bedroom, one bath unit. The Seascape complex features a private swimming pool, ample parking and is only a short walk to the Island's North Pier. There are 2 beach accesses, each being approximately 1/2 block on either side of the building. It is located within walking distance to the Boardwalk and the boat harbor. Also located just a few blocks from Freeman Park where you can drive on the beach with 4 wheel drives. The Fort Fisher Museum, Fort Fisher Aquarium and Fort Fisher Ferry are just a short drive away on the Island. Wilmington is also an easy, short drive away and also offers many unique attractions and restaurants.

The condo is completely modern and boasts numerous updates from hardwood floors to custom countertops and paint.

Cook your own meals in the fully stocked kitchen, and enjoy the large, open living area that opens directly to the balcony. The unit also features a large flat screen television, Blu-ray DVD player, and in-house washer/dryer unit.

The condo is perfect for a romantic getaway but can accommodate travelers with a child or two, or an all girls getaway. Included in your rental are all linens, kitchen essentials and no hidden fees.

The spacious master bedroom has a comfortable queen mattress with an extra foam topper and comforter and pillows. There is also a queen pull out sofa bed with a new comfortable mattress, and a full pull out sofa bed as well. Parking available for guests only--never pay to park or for beach access!

At Seascape the grounds and courtyard are beautifully maintained and landscaped. The complex features a private swimming pool w/community lounge chairs. Parking by the pool allows room for parking a boat and trailer. Grills are available poolside.

DO NOT STAY HERE!

Shortly after arriving , there were several cleaning issues such as smell, horrible rusted shower curtain , molded shower curtain liner, dirty and mold bathtub and shower head, food in couch ,random pill on the couch , dirty toaster oven , the pillows were disgusting, linens smelled , bugs here and there she referred to as palmetto bugs (look it up) these are a few issues. I contacted the owner immediately via messaging. I informed her of this and that I was not happy. Also that I took photos of everything. She responded defensively and told me she inspected the condo personally and it was fine. She never offered to come and correct or should I say clean anything. Not sure what I paid a cleaning fee for. We purchased cleaning supplies for the bathroom , our own pillows, laundry soap to wash the linens and bedding. Did not use toaster oven, tried to use the 2 skillets one with a handle coming off but everything stuck , the one saucepan had something burnt in it so cooking didn’t happen either! the mattress pad is stained , so disgusting had to layer that. She said nothing but basically oh well I think it’s clean her Version of clean! Avoid this condo !!! Proof with photos and her message response if anyone would like !

It’s all about the view!

We had a wonderful stay here! The view is fabulous and you hear the ocean waves 24/7! Since we were here early spring and early in the week, it was very quiet. Someone did come to the condo below us the last day and had music playing, which we could hear throughout the condo. I would suggest to the property manager to replace the mildewed shower curtain lining and rusted shower rod. These are easy, inexpensive updates. The bed was comfortable. The one star for communication I’d remove if I could, but there was no “human”communication at all. Just know that, in case it makes you wonder. We did receive all the info we needed a few days ahead and had no issues. This condo has what you need and no more, but it’s hard to beat that view for the price! I’d definitely consider coming back!

Short get-away

Property is exactly as advertised. It was a great location at the north end of Carolina Beach with nearly direct access to the beach. The property was clean and the porch was close to the waves and ocean.

Good two days by the beach

We had a great stay. The property is a bit "tired", but otherwise clean. You will not get a property closer to the beach (which is perhaps unfortunate for the property's eventual fate.

Why they chose this property

We love this area and Seascape provides a small town environment, and yet it is centrally located within many neighboring attractions. Located at the North End of the beach assures a quiet, relaxing getaway. A short walk to the Northend Pier for fishing or eating. Within walking distance to the Boardwalk and Boat Harbor. You can enjoy the summer fireworks on the Boardwalk while sitting in your beach chairs in front of the condo. Fort Fisher Museum, Fort Fisher Museum and the Fort Fisher Ferry are just a short drive from the Condo. Wilmington offers many attractions and restaurants and is also a close, easy drive from the condo. If you have a 4 wheel drive and enjoy driving on the beach, Freeman Park is located just a few blocks away.

The beach! We ALL love the ocean and chose this property because it is just outside the front door! Something about the ocean just feeds the soul. Come and experience its relaxing beauty!
