Poor managment of the property concerned us greatly
Apartment 2b 1 6 1. Great view - the positives stop there.
Please bear in mind when reading this response that we are familiar with this resort and had spent the previous week in block 2a next door.
As requested by natalia I reported 5 bands only in the apartment (not 6) and provided passport details straight away which she acknowledged immediately.
At approx. 8pm on the same day, after returning from the pool I sent several email highlighting master bedroom had a broken shutter, master bedroom door wouldn't stay shut without pegs jammed under it (the modified pegs were already present which highlighted that this problem was known) and master bedroom lock on door won't engage either. Design fault in bathroom meant that no light was in the toilet area if you closed the toilet door. The Apartment was made up for 4 people even though we rented it for 6.
Wet mats, bedding and towels left on rack outside, towel also left on balcony floor.
Living area sofa was filthy inside, it had lots of dust and dirt on the mattress and had a dirty bouncy ball on it - the covers needed shaking outside. Looked like nobody had opened the sofa to clean it in months.
I Incorrectly reported another faulty bathroom light but retracted that comment later in the evening.
No response was made by Bennecke to any complaint made on Wednesday which was our first night. I sent a text message on Thursday to follow up the emails and received no response to that either, even though they were aware we only have 5 bands for 6 people. Nobody answered calls made to the emergency phone Friday either so I called office phone and went over some of the problems again with a different man. The Man who answered said he would speak to Natalia.
1200 on Friday we had to leave our children by the pool to meet Ramon so that he could fix the shutter and door.
He fixed the door and shutter issues by 1235 which was quick but still took time away from our last full day.
As we only had a 3 night stay in this apartment all of the above inconvenience affected our last 3 days in the resort greatly. Other than the inconvenience of having to meet with Ramon who fixed the issues I was apprehensive and concerned about potential deposit charges the whole time and was very disappointed that so many communications regarding a less than satisfactory apartment were not answered. Even after departing the apartment I recieved no apology or partial refund from Natalia or Bennecke for the inconvenience.
